Ya know, if memory serves, you used to be kind of tight with a knife maker, a maker who actually MADE tomahawks and hatchets I believe... He could probably get something worked up for ya... Make it all specially and girly and junk!Well, the wife has declared her want for an axe. She starting reading Kephart on our honeymoon and has it in her head that she wants one of her own. She's settled(for now) on a Hudson bay pattern from Council Tools. Now I gotta find a deal.

I've spent the last 2.5 hours playing Mario Kart Wii. Had to do something to keep from going all Donkey Kong in this beach. I've bested all my old times by at least a second, I've also beaten out 4 of Nintendo's posted best times. That is one hell of a weird feeling... "I did it... God this is what my life has become?! I should be proud! Maybe I should just keep this to myself"

I was watching an episode of Modern Marvels about axes and they were at the council factory. Made me want to get one.
I've heard about that episode a few times, but can never catch it on. I've got the Council Hudson bay Velvicut axe, sweet! She likes it, but says she wants the standard "non-fancy" version.
Funny how the world works, sometimes.

Yeah, yeah.....
Naw, just something rattling around in my head, having a hard time sorting some stuff out.
Getting sick of not having any fun in my life. Bitching about working graveyard, 6-7 days a week.
Trying to sort out a break from all this bullshit, get to the woods for some fishing and relaxing.
It ain't going well, on the sorting out part.......mid year shutdown, I'm working the next 14 days straight, and yes, that includes the 4th. Grrrr.......

Well, at times I'm torn on which would be best, working too much and being loaded with cash or being laid off and being loaded with time. Sucks not getting time with your family, let alone time to yourself.
Eh, last week was our Family Vacation/Daughter's Birthday's week. My girls bdays are 6 days apart, so, the usual course of action, is that we take the week of their birthdays, and make that our family summer vaction as well.
So, over the first weekend, we done the birthday parties. Monday, we went to the Titanic Exhibit in Pigeon Forge, Tuesday we went to Tuckaleechee Caverns, Wednesday, Dolly's Splash Country, Thursday we went horseback riding, and Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, we went to Six Flags Over Georgia.
I worked every night, spent all day with the family. I slept very little, and there were a few 36hr stretches with no sleep what so ever.
Shit like that, is what bothers me the most. Being exhausted, and still trying to provide the Famn Damily with a dad, is hard to do.
Grrrrrr................
Me needs sometime away from work.
