I started that 100 push-up thing, damn I'm out of shape. I used to be able to knock out about 50 now I can barely get 32.

My goal by the end of summer is to be able to do at least one set of 100.

http://www.hundredpushups.com/ Is what I'm using currently. I did all of week 4 except the 5th set. Of course after the first three sets the breaks went from a minute to about 4 :eek: oh and my arms start trembling when ever I Move them. Overworked? Probably.
 
Pushups I'm still pretty strong on, running I'm sure has fallen off drastically. I've always hated running anyway, screw it.

I got a new laptop yesterday. Windows 8 is....weird. It took me 15 minutes to find the shut down option. Looking forward to learning the new system and using this thing.

X2. last pushups test i did myself im still at bout 80. But i use to run 2 miles in just over 13 minutes and now it takes me bout 30 minutes because im walking lmao.


And i got windows 8 just a little bit ago and hated it! I remember posting here about how much i disliked it and someone posted its never to late to hate windows 8... lmao, but after a few weeks of using it im starting to like it better, the pop up screens on the 4 corners do come in handy, i just miss the start button, and don't care for the start menu, but the search setting "window" has all the control panel and power option goodies still...its just on the other side lol.

I like that i can have a picture of what ever knife im currently lusting over open in the top left corner and keep peeking at it without ever changing pages or pressing a button!
 
FINALLY!!

So my mini cannon will be delivered today :) I got a message saying the machine was broken and that's what caused the delay, just wish they would have let me known that a week ago...

But its not the 4th anymore..... and im not so sure i can get away with firing it off in the city of philly lmao... Ill have to wait until im out in the woods now to try it out.... Glad its finally coming though.
 
At 2:30 or so i thought that thing was gunna break in 2 using the cheater bar.

I love how well this steel holds its edge after REAL use. I used my RMD to chop a whole gang of firewood over a weekend camping and it could still slice paper or shave hair off my arm, it was a little rough but still impressive.

I've noticed .22 ammo starting to trickle back on shelves. That's nice to see.

I found a store with about 150 boxes of .223, I asked for 5 boxes and they would only sell me 1 box.. I am starting to see ammo everywhere again, but I think it will still be awhile before the "scare" is over.
 
The local farm co-op had some CCI hollow points for 12.75/box of 100 and a limit of 2.
 
Yeah ammo is starting to get better around here as well. One of the local gun shops had some off brand .22 for 7 bucks a box. I was also able to pick up some Remington umc 9mm for 15 bucks.
 
I've gotten a couple of Federal Automatch boxes from Midway USA in the last month. They limit to one as well, but it'd good to see the bulk stuff popping up once in a while.

This has been my biggest pain. I had plenty of stock of .223/5.56, 9mm, 12 ga and 20ga pre-scare, but never thought to stock up on .22. It just seemed crazy that there would be a shortage of .22.
 
I picked up 250 rounds of PMC 9mm for less than $100. Of course I had to go to South Dakota to get it, so the money saving is kind of a wash.:D
 
I am glad I picked up a couple thousand rounds when I had the chance. I am still pretty apprehensive to go plinking, though. Unless it involves shooting possums or coons off the back porch.
 
Don't you love when that happens? You could probably fill it up wit epoxy and sawdust. I just don't know how it'll look with a hole that big.
 
Hey does anyone have a high resolution BK&T logo? I have not been able to find a good high quality one and this isn't the first time I have searched. A buddy of mine said he could make me some decals so I'm searching for a good one.
 
Me too...but haven't found any decent artwork and haven't put the time in to create it! If it was ok with E / Kabar I'd make these and give them out to Beckerheads for the cost of the SASE.
