So...I was happily tinkering along.....made up a customer's BK2 sheath, black taco ''just like he wanted'', took pics..came inside to email him, read the email...and realized he ordered a black/ORANGE PANCAKE. Hmmmmmmmm, I think I have inhaled to many kydex fumes today.

Picked up one of those "old school" kiwi knives. I actually like it a lot. It came razor sharp and it's fun to flip open. Not bad for 15 bucks. Throws sparks off a firesteel like a flamethrower.

I have one of these, and it's got really good steel for the money. Takes a scalpel edge. The only reason I don't use it more is because of the awkward shape when closed. Probably wouldn't bother you at all though if you carried it in a pouch or something. Just not very pocket friendly. Great design once it's in hand, though. might think a little about converting mine into a fixed. but, yeah. Real good $$ to performance ratio.

I've got one...Hell Svord are right next door (yet they charge $40 bucks for these here...F@!K!). Mine was horrible from the factory, uneaven grinds, greasy as a hell, stiffer than 10 bottles of viagra...Anyway, took it to the grinder and stuff and its now very reminicent of Kyley Harris's ckc Hiker which were made from the same blade.

I must have gotten a good one because the grind is just damn near perfect. The blade had some grease on it (protective coating maybe?) but it wipes off and the two screws adjust the stiffness.

It goes from there, all the way around to my nail on other side

one good thing about sharp knives..they bite deep but they heal quick. dang curved blade went most of the way around my finger, to the bone in the center.
