A co-worker was talking about those before Christmas, and the wife and I spotted several at Kohls while shopping. What's the benefit of them, less oil/grease?Since DunkEm already broke snark, some randomness...
Air fryers are awesome! That is all. Lol
I haven't stopped using mine no oil and great taste. I even fryed apples and plantains in it.A co-worker was talking about those before Christmas, and the wife and I spotted several at Kohls while shopping. What's the benefit of them, less oil/grease?
That said, I am feeling no pain, haha. Good ol' Johnny Walker.
You 1000% Did the right thingI don't know if I have ever been quite as furious as I was earlier tonight.
Was going to go bowling with my best friend and one of his buddies. The buddy was going to drive but if I remember right he's totalled about 6 vehicles so I volunteered. I kinda figured it was coming so I said no alcohol in my Jeep (I'm under 21, state law is no open containers in a vehicle, and I work a job where a single moving violation with get me fired).
Before we even made it 100 yards out of the driveway the buddy pulled out a mtn dew bottle and passed it to my friend and told him to try whatever concoction he had in it. Halfway through his sip I stopped the Jeep and started backing up towards his driveway. At this point no harm no foul, whatever, put it in his car and we'll be just fine.
But they start prodding. The buddy keeps saying, "come on man, you're kidding right? If anything happens I can throw it out the window! You're kidding right, your kidding? You've gotta be joking?"
I was still calm, but I'm awfully hard headed so I'm starting to get a bit perturbed.
"Do you reaaally think I'm kidding?"
Then my friend said, "You're being pretty lame dude," and that absolutely set me off. I'm a pretty quiet feller to begin with, but when I get really mad my voice changes, I stay quiet and sound calm but you can definitely tell it's not my regular.
I told him that I didn't give a damn whether he or his buddy thought I was 'lame' or not (in a few more words) and that my job is more important to me than "cool points."
So my friend changed his tune pretty quick but his buddy is still outraged that I would DARE not risk my job, driving record, even license so he could pregame for bowling.
Finally it went back to his car and we went on our (not very) merry way. We ended up eating some mcnuggets while his buddy sulked and going home without bowling lol.
Check out this machete at 3:20 ... the sucker looks like a BEAST!
Yes, Dawson, YOU did the right thing. Sometimes you have to make a choice between being right and keeping friends. I've lost a few over the years. In the long run, they don't matter. Your integrity and good name does.
Behind you 110%.

You ABSOLUTELY did the right thing.
A young man in our community was recently arrested for tampering with evidence when he tried to swallow a joint he was smoking when the police officer pulled him over. The young man "really thinks" pot should be legal, as if that will matter to a judge. The pot possession itself would probably have been a misdemeanor, but he's facing a felony for the tampering with evidence charge. Though your friend thought he could "just throw it out the window" my guess is that if the same cop pulled y'all over, the tampering with evidence charge would have landed on you as well.
You made the good, but unfortunately at times, hard choice.
Well done!!!!
