Well, my cousins and I have already played poker and completed the first pranks of the new year this morning. 5 hours of sleep time now, woo!

Hopefully another gun or two is on my list this year as the past two I've accrued some very nice knives :D

Happy New Years Folks.

Time for a run!

Happy new year, and good morning!

Lots of changes happened for the Woody family during 2015. Major life changes, job changes, location changes... Most for the better, but I'm hoping 2016 is a calm, slow moving, relaxing year.

my new year's resolution was to get up early and go deer hunting.
I got up early, found out my hunting buddy is sick, and went back to bed.
I will go deer hunting later this afternoon to finish out the resolution.

My new years resolution was to not have a new years resolution... I'm not sure I'm doing this right though.

My 2016 resolution is to get at least one haircut this year. I'm planning for success in this year's resolution. Last year I resolved to eat ALL the donuts and failed miserably - but I gave it a good effort.

Yea I think my resolution is to enjoy the small things and relax as much as possible.... So same Ol' shiz LOL

I want a decal to put on my back window... Having a hard time picking one... I'd really like a fishing hook "catching" a beer mug... But can't find it. Seen it on something before though... Maybe a sign, shirt, logo... Can't remember...

Penguins love popcorn.

Yeah back in the 40's and 50's pretty much every major hardware and department store chain had their own brand of guns, though usually in name only and made by the more familiar companies. A lot more people farmed and ranched back then as well as hunted, both for sport and necessity, and they wanted inexpensive guns for pest control and putting meat on the table. They're interesting pieces that tend to have a lot of character and can be picked up pretty cheap so I have a few various guns like that.

That mossberg bolt action 12ga with 2rd mag is floating around here somewhere. I read you could pick up a 6rd mag but searched high and low and never found one. You ever come accross this?

Sometimes doing the right thing isn't doing the right thing.

I never checked because I hadn't heard such a thing ever existed. If I find anything I'll let ya know.

The wife and I went for a ride today, to check out some of the local flooding. It's gone down a bunch, but still has a long way to go:

A creek by Sangchris lake that flooded out:

You can see how the road would normally curve to the left. Behind the tree line in the distance is the creek:

Other side of the road. You can see someones ball caught at the bottom:

The entire bottoms were flooded out. We just hiked down here a few weeks ago:

Walking down the spillway. The sound alone was worth the walk:

Kind of foamy at the bottom:

An old iron bridge going across another creek:

The actual creek is behind the tree line:

Horses safely by the barn. They usually graze behind the fence you can just see sticking up out of the water:

We haven't seen flooding like this for a long time.

That's it! Wow, lol...ur good. Pricey, and sold out...think I found them elsewhere before but was out of stock as well and never came back in so I gave up. Been a few years since I tried again.

Pretty sure I was thinking one in the chamber so the 5 is right.

Back when I researched this the story was that the pump was for rich folks so they designed the bolt for regular folks to step up from break barrels.

Thanks Bigghoss!

So, I live right off 55 right next to Arnold where the flooding has been kind of crazy. Having been out of town for a week though I had heard about the flooding but had no real idea WTF was going on. On the way home today traffic was a nightmare, and I managed to get a COUPLE of pictures. Nothing too special as it was cold, I had to pee, and traffic was already pissing me off.

What's the matter with this thing, what's all that churnning and bubbling, you call that radar screen?

No, sir. We call it, Mr Coffee. Care for some?

That's a bunch of water! Stay safe, MO Beckerheads!
