Heres a before of my shop,

And here is progress, I painted over the weekend and the electrians came yesterday to run some pipe.*

Man I can't wait to get back at it. Hopefully by next week or 2, I will start getting my gear set up.

Glad things went well Todd, smoke headed up for a speedy recovery!

Woke up to 35 degree temps... Built a 1 log fire to keep me warm while I have my morning smoke and ice tea.

My fenix pd35 has about lived it's life... The mode button works about 50% of the time these days. But it's been used hard, daily, for a year or so.... I figure anything under 100 bucks that lasts over a year has fulfilled it's duty lol.

But... Do I get another pd35, or go with nitecore mh20.... Fenix has served me well for years... But that mh20 looks sweet.

I know I wouldn't be happy switching to a light with less output so I'm keeping in the 800-1000 lumen range, and it has to be pocketable..

Sweet stuff JD, while it's empty id paint my logo on the wall, roof, or floor....

Lots of white in there, it would stand out and look badass!

Going to be coating/painting my shop floor with something with some texture.. I have plywood floor though, and it shows stains like crazy. Not sure what to use though... Something like truck bed liner spray would be sweet though. Just want some grip, and to hide stains and be easier to clean up.

Fresh starts are great. Good luck to you.

Why would he want your logo painted in his shop? ;) Although I have to admit your logo is badass.

Looking good, JD.

When you start with bare walls, you can lay things out just how you want it. Shoehorning stuff in around existing stuff is a pain. Especially with electrical work. I like how it looks as if you have dedicated circuits for work stations based on the number of breakers I see in the box

Checking out the reports from the first day of SHOT show and I'm digging it. Kimber has a revolver that looks intresting, Howa is jumping on the scout rifle bandwagon, and the Tavor X95 might be my first bulpup.

I'm definitely liking that kimber, I only wish it either had a bobbed hammer or a full hammer spur

Whats y'alls opinion of military grade quick clot that has expired? Dunno if I'd put it in the go bag but could be handy to have around. Does it really expire or is it just a thing they have to put on there because the packaging expires, not the product?

Yup, I got to put the outlets where I wanted them.

Yup, I was eyeballing that too. Nice pipework. I prob woulve went with 1 3/4" for the wall with the panel, it would carry all 6 but I'm just nit picky.
Def have options for future the way its set up...very nice!

Just found out about Boker's like of SAK-like Tech Tools. I guess they have a new model out for SHOT. And Mora has a full tang model now.

I think I'd pass on this one too. We've taken on project houses/properties before but for a weekend place, that's a whole lot of weekends without any relaxing or fun just to make it habitable and safe, starting with some serious foundation work. Next.

I hear ya man, especially living 3 hours away. 1066vik and I were saying too, about the hidden problems you don't see until you start tearing into it...

If you decide to do an experiment to find out for sure, let us know the results.

Oh and pics or it didn't happen. ;)

Made a pre-winter-storm stocking run. I grabbed a six-pack of Sweetwater 420 and a Kel-Tec Sub-2000. I should be good.
