I think my plan today is to mess around with the KME some more. those of you that have it, an tips? and what additional items do you reccomed getting?

also got a badlands HDX that I think I'm going to setup as my new EDC pack

Sorry, behind on snark...
If you poke around the PlayStation Store you can get 2weeks free but that's it. Afterwards its like $60/year.
Battle front is kinda...meh. I mostly play the Fighter Squadren. In fact, that's all I've played. Tried a few of the FPS games and it sucks if you're lo level. At 36 now so I'll prob check them out again eventually.

I'm on the 2 week deal for now, why not, its free right? Downloaded Gauntlet free, prob some more stuff. It doesn't seem like a limited trial, its full on everything.

Alright, thanks. Which FPS games have you tried? Also, not sure if you downloaded all of the games from the voucher yet, but if not, check out Star Wars Bounty Hunter, played it on GameCube and it was really fun.

Unless your really really into Star Wars...you should prob look at the COD bundle.

I would be looking at the COD bundle but I loved the old SW Battlefront(s) on PS2 so I'm wanting to have the new one. I'll probably get just about every other game except Destiny from Gamefly.

In on snark.

Caught a few bass and a couple bream this morning at the creek. Good times.

Yesterday took the wife and kids to the drive in theatre, 3 new movies for under 20 bucks. 2 adults and 2 kids... Great price these days...

Saw the good dinosaur and the new star wars but left before the new Moby dick movie started...

I lost interest in the star war movie after the first 15 minutes of robot and alien gibberish :D

The wife thought it was OK, but me and the kids got bored with it...

But now I can at least say I tried watching one... One and done...

I am severely disappointed in the weather prediction services today -- where's my snowmageddon!
it's cold, humidity is high, it's windy as heck -- but no snow or even sleet!
(at least they got the 1/4" of ice overnight part right) :barf:

Lemme get this straight...
You tried reading a 1000 page novel by starting on page 700? No wonder you got bored!

Just finished rowing 10,000 m on our new Concept2 ergometer. Really enjoying these workouts.

I went to the new SW with my dad and brother last night. I enjoyed it more than I was expecting, despite the crowded theater.

I LOVED the new star wars, one of my new favorite movies!

in other news, I'm think of pulling the trigger on an esee 6...

finished in the rotisserie for crispness

That sounds incredible. Seriously.

Is that one of the early units with the bike wheel and freewheel? I've always wanted a concept2, but I've never lived in a space that was big enough to set it up.

it's pretty damn juicy and good

i used the old bike wheel kind for years, loved it

so i bought the model C ergometer. it's been upgraded, and Concept's support is quite good.

highly recommended as a "good toy"

The concept-II's are the standard, it seems.
Good machine for a ship. Confusing.
Let's be clear: nobody 'loves' using the erg... if you do, yer nuts! (you may be nuts).
Great exercise, tho...

it's THE GOLD standard for crossfit, and rowing training and ...

"you hate being on the erg (esp if you are WORKING), but you hate being off the erg"

:D

best gear ever

Good to know about the support. We got the model D with the PM5 monitor. Very happy so far.

lol! Yeah, the workouts can be challenging, especially if you are pushing yourself, but I like how I'm not as beat up as I used to be after hard runs.

Good to hear this from folks that have used them. We were nervous about getting one as we had never tried it.

This thing is fantastic. Been living on my belt since my wonderful wife gifted it to me. She also picked me up a mora pro robust, and a mora classic #2. The pro robust is really really cool.
