word of the day: Graupel
up to .40 caliber ice crusted snowballs -- also known as "soft hail", unless it's being propelled through the atmosphere sideways at 40 MPH.

Also got to handle a few things at the knife shop the other day. I played with a BK21 for a little bit (the price they had it for wasn't too good) I could see that thing being a choppy beast. The forward weight on it would take a bit to get used to. I also played with one of these:

I wouldn't mind getting some play time with it. Only problem being its way out of my budget range, and the sheath is horrible (in my opinion). So about that BK&T hawk......

I don't think I have a Mel Brooks movie I didn't like.

The pup is getting big!

Yea, I need to work on getting a few more for my stash. And yes, Indie is growing like a weed it seems. She broke the 20 lb mark last week.

Us bacon-ites got nothing on this little monger.

Well finally got my gun lockers all set up and bolted together. I have a lot of guns, particularly shotguns. I keep finding neat shotguns for cheap so I snatch them up because why not? If I had bought them new I could have single-handedly saved H&R.

You know, you could send me one of those H&R's and then you'd have more room, it's a win win :D

Winter found us here in central Texas. As a result, I had to make Italian Wedding Soup.

We're also finally seeing winter :( I wish the snow held out just a little longer :D

I'm thinking I'm going to stop by the local pawn shop tomorrow and see what they have

Check everywhere that sells used guns. The big chain pawn shops tend to ask a little to a lot more than a small gun store might but you should be able to get a shotgun around $100 depending on condition. I've paid $80 for one with a beat up stock and some very light surface rust up to $120 for one that looked brand new. When you're looking at them open the breech and then cock and carefully lower the hammer while holding the trigger to see if the firing pin protrudes. Other than that there isn't much that can go wrong with them.

Pics or it didn't happen.

In other news, if any of y'all be interested, got a Trigger Maze and an HTM Gunhammer up on the Exchange. I'll discount for Beckerheads.

Get serious, you lame Canuck. It's freaking almost 2016; you're in the northernmost part of the Americas.....WTF is your deal? I think you aren't really Canadian. Have you even gotten out your winter shorts yet?
