Got my youngest off the computer this afternoon and using some woodworking tools, specifically spokeshaves. She made a cylindrical, pointed stick.....I think she was shooting for something more magic wand-like, but she had fun making shavings (awesome tinder) and it wasn't burning holes in her retinas.

She tried using the 11 and a Mora, but decided they weren't precise enough for what she wanted to do. It was fun getting her set up and showing her how to use the tools. Now all I need is to create a workbench of a more suitable size and height for her.

It's unpossible. I don't think you comprehend just how tradewater Tradewater is. If the BK9 were a person, it would follow Tradewater on facebook.
