Just bought my first esee today from their sale forum

I like your wharncliff sketch TBL. I like the bottom one best. I wouldn't want to do that to my only 15 (because I'm so attached to it) but I think its would be a useful mod for sure.

AH! The sharpener is a Smiths Tri-hone. Its nice :)

I figure with all the knives in the world I may be able to just buy wharncliff. No sense chopping up my 15's... unless I ordered a 3rd :D

Glad the hand is starting to get there! You'll be back to normal in no time at this rate!

Looking good there, Mauser! Bummed I had to move out before getting to work on some blades with you again. But you're welcome down here any time!
 
Went on an overnight hike on 5/30, got to the spot, my buddy brought a friend along who used his BK2 for the first time. Then he switched to a Gransfors Bruks small forest axe, again, using it for the first time, and split his foot open. The overnight hike turned into a 5 day hospital stay him and a hike cut extremely short for us. The funniest (well for me) part was, as he was beginning to split some logs, I was telling the story of how Maethor split his leg open.

Should have batoned the 2. Hope he's okay. We missed you at Blade. Derek needed a dance partner Saturday night.

So the guy cut through the big toe knuckle, cut some tendons and ligaments. He's home and on crutches and his wife will most likely not let him join us on another outing.

Derek gets a bit grabby when he's dancing to his people's music.

But you didnt have to tease me with the picture of that delicious looking bacon. My stomach growls just typing the word. Been a few months since i ate bacon. I miss bacon. bacon bacon bacon.... NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO make it stop.

He got off easy. He could have been molested by a horny hillbilly and then had to canoe his way to safety on a turbulent river.
 
Big day yesterday. Got the ridge beam in place. It's 22' long, 16" deep and over 5" wide. It's a freaking beast! Insulation going in today. Progress.

I hate to hear it when a horny hillbilly heinously hoondangles a hapless hiker who happened to head from the highway high on the hilltop down the holler.
