Thank you! Yah I'm pretty excited!

I am also excited to get back to mangling steel. This one will be a bit more complicated but should be fun. My take on a vest pocket bowie, full tang, straight clip, etc etc. At least that what I'm hoping/shooting for. Will have to take some pics for y'all a bit later once I get to cutting stuff out.
 
Somewhere I have a pic of my daughter at about 2 days old (outside the womb) giving the finger. There may be pne of me somewhere too.

I order stencils, they are made of some type of thin plastic material.

And yes i do 3 to 1 FC to h2o for the acid etch (darkening) but for my logo i electro-etch those with AC/DC and use a solution of vinegar, salt, and a little lemon juice. I honestly dont notice any difference using the lemon juice in the mixture though honestly.... Someone had told me that it could help something a WHILE back so i added it to my etch solution and now that its in it i just use it... Doesnt seem to make anything worse though either.

you can always marinate something with it, hence the lemon juice :D

I've been enjoying the rain, though the tornadoes do suck, luckily the always seem to go around us

The rains been fantastic, my grass can't be happier, but the flooding... Well lol, and all the bad storms seem to be constantly pointing towards us, so there's that too! Been very lucky thus far. Glad y'all have been safe too.

yeah, the flooding is not good, theres a low spot between our yard and the neighbors that looks like a lake right now.

where abouts are you guys at? we're in stillwater

I've seen things like that before. I prefer to shoot 9mm out of a 9mm. My Glocks are hungry.
 
Been busy today. Made the drive to pick up a boat that was Misti's brothers that her family have to us. Stopped at a small man made lake that I heard had trout in it. I ended up catching my first rainbow trout. I don't know if its decent size or not for a trout. I did lose one that was bigger too.



Eta: That sucker was a slippery one! I didn't expect it to be so slippery or squirmy.

We just stopped to eat, get some gas, and are gonna hit the road again soon. Hoping to be home in a few hours.

i recently lost my favorite light, my stream light microstream, so i ordered a now one and just got it today, this is by far my favorite EDC light, if you haven't already tried one id highly reccomend it
