I tried chasing you down for snakeskin nukarta to make my own grips years ago. If you go and leave us gripless now, I'll have to start coveting cheap Pakistani stainless... :barf: :mad:

Empty threats Don, the fewer blades you buy, the more there are for the rest of us Hogs. :D I agree though, I would buy a set of slabs for my other 1911's sepecially if Jerry could figure out how to make them slim line like those on the Thunder Ranch Special.
 
We do have some prototype 1911 grips lying around in Snake Skin and other colors :cool: . . . If I can find them, I'll bring them to BLADE. . . If you are a HOG and are interested in a pair for $60.00, you must approach the table slowly, without any sudden movements, and give Garth or myself the Cloven Hoof Salute while whispering the secret code phrase, "Fork Over The Pork OINKER!!!" . . . . :D :thumbup:

OH MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! First I have been informed that I am not yet a HOG (just a piglet), so I guess that already disqualifies me...but getting to Atlanta is like getting to the moon, so I guess I'm down and out....nice offer!!!!!

Wow! I can't afford the pistol, but I could afford some grips, then fashion a cardboard 1911 to glue them to- next best thing! :D :D

It was bad enough when I found out that I wasn't going to be able to go to Blade and meet all of you guys, I'm in a wedding that weekend in Raliegh NC. Now I can't get any of those grips either.

As bad as I would like the grips I think it's worse that I'm not going to be able to meet any of ya'll.

The worst part of not being able to go to Blade is that Amy-O is not going to be able to meet me. :(
