Snow in North Ga giveaway

Hello fellow BF community.
So snow is pretty rare in the suburbs north of Atlanta and they were predicting 1-3" of snow.
In typical Atlanta behavior people made a run for water, bread and milk fearing the worst. (I'm from NJ, so this cracks me up). My wife asked me if I had flashlights, lighters and other small things ready just in case. And I found a few extra items I don't carry anymore so I figured I would do a giveaway.

Items were used on a regular basis and I figured someone out there could use them.

-kabar folding knife (110 style) with sheath
-condor bushcraft fixed blade
- Casio g shock analog watch (I wore this a lot and has some scratches)
-zippo lighter
-mag lite led flashlight

Rules:
Just say you are in and tell us what you would do if snowed in (if applicable)
Conus only

I will randomly pick an entry on Saturday 1/14/17 at 8 pm est.

Thanks
Andy

Andy, what a cool giveaway! Love the analog g shock! I'm in! If I were snowed in, I'd light a fire, make some comfort food, and spend lots of time on BF.

I'm in. It rarely snows where I live, but if snowed in probably run outside in the snow, come back in to warm up. Then spend the rest of the day sharing and oiling knives, while hoping no fences around the farm need to be fixed.

Great giveaway, I'm in. I would make a small fire by chopping some kindling wood, light it, (hopefully) with the lighter, and brew some tea. And the watch to see how long it took me before I got to cold and went inside.

If I were snowed in, it'd be the freaking apocalypse or something, like in that crap Rolland Emerich movie, except it'd probably still be everybody else snowed in and they'd be coming here. I'd probably starve or freeze to death because I don't keep much food or water around. I own one pair of jeans and a light coat that I haven't worn in years. The very few times I've seen what anybody from somewhere else would call "real" snow, ie: snow that comes down in more than a few flakes and actually sticks to the ground and cars, it happened late at night and was gone by morning. It's 66° here right now. There's snow on the mountain tops though (we got rain).

Not an entry. Good luck to everybody.

im in,i have a couple inches in south east ky,was snowed in yesterday cleaned knives, then started on the fishing stuff, clean a reel, check bf,clean a reel ,check bf,works out great.thanks steve

I just won a recent gaw so I'm going to have to pass, but thanks for the generous giveaway and I'm sure someone will get some good use out of this stuff.
It almost never snows here ( 3 instances of 1 days worth of snow in the past 20yrs ) but if I was snowed in I'd just sit on the couch next to my dog and watch a bunch of movies.

I'm in and also live in N. GA, norther suburb of Atlanta. When I get snowed in I watch all the Atlanta natives panic buy bread and milk, while I buy charcoal, meat, beer, and wine. I guess they plan on making bread pudding for dessert?

I'm in. I also hail from New Jersey and have lived in Seattle, where people freak out around snow. My snow in plan is usually cook all day and try to remember where I left my go bag (not that I'll need it, but I never remember where it is).

I'm in, and at the moment snowed in. Live in NC Surfing the forums, looking for a cheap BM 940-2. Frying some yardbird at the moment, getting ready to put on the feedbag.

I'm in.
I have lived just west of ATL all my life, a rare occasion to be snowed in.
3 times that I can recall in my 43 years.
But, when there is, I usually have a pile to burn outside in the barrel, cook on charcoal grill, pot of chili, lots of hot chocolate and popcorn. Long game of monopoly (we have 5 kids!), card games, big checkers, and all kinds of junk food consumed!
Thanks!

Im in thanks, I was snowed in a lot of times living in Virginia, we mostly had family time, watch movies, play games, now I think I would give my knives a spa treatment

I'm in. If it snowed here in SW FL I'd be packing my go bag cause it would have to be "The Day After Tomorrow".

When I awoke from napping in my Barcalounger it was dark. Too damn dark. A look at my Casio G-Shock watch told me it was too early to be this dark.
Could the watch be wrong? I grabbed the LED Mag-Lite from my side table and flashed it on the wall clock. Nope, it IS too early to be dark yet.
I hopped up and pulled the curtains back to get a look outside. Lo and behold... snow had fallen, deep enough to block the windows in the living room.

Damn. Snowed in. Looks like I'm in, for the foreseeable future anyways.

A couple of steps took me to the wood stove. Fortunately, I had recently cut some kindling with my Condor Bushcraft and a quick pass from my Zippo lighter had flames started.

I pulled a bottle of Dead Guy ale from the fridge. As I popped the top with the end of my Ka-Bar folder, I had an epiphany... all of the gear I just used were sent to me recently by a guy from Georgia, simply because it started snowing.

Snow. In Georgia of all things. Hmmph. Couldn't help but to grin and shake my head.

I tipped the bottle of microbrew to the southeast in a salute... "Here's to you, GAFishing... glad to have you along old friend."
