Snow in North Ga giveaway

I'm in! And I'm in SW Florida. So if it snowed I'd get bundled up, grab a lawn chair, a drink and some popcorn and go sit in the front yard and watch the fun as people try to navigate the traffic circle we live near!

Andy, Thank you. I'm in. We have had ice and a little snow on he ground here in central Mississippi since Friday. I have pretty much stayed in where it is warm, except I did get out and make a pizza run yesterday afternoon...

Thanks for all the entries guys.
Still time to enter
Andy

This reminds me that I need to get my larger generator in for a going over. It is not running at the moment and it is there for emergencies. I was pretty much snowed in for the morning in Memphis this week, but ventured out on my job around noon. The cold was a pain in the butt.... really cold... like 8 degrees.... need water and everything is froze up.... Anyway, we gave it the college try and overcame the cold issues. No heat or water in the house we were working on. No, I am not "IN" for the give away. I don't bother with these things anymore.

I'm in. What a cool GAW. Maybe even 32 degrees cool.

What would I do if it snowed here in the California wine country? Well, I would go outside of course. I live in a neighborhood that is mostly seniors so I would have to check if my neighbors were OK and if they needed anything. I am the only person in the area with a snow shovel so I am sure that would get some use.

Once that was complete, then I could relax and enjoy the snow with my wife and the cats. Cook up a huge pot of chowder, bake some bread in the bread machine and dig up the classic B/W DVDs to watch after sunset. Yes, the knives would all get sharpened and oiled, too.

FWIW, I just got back from taking my daughter to Rexburg, ID for school. It was a wonderfully warm 14 degrees while I was there. Loved it. Shortly after I left it dropped to
9 degrees and the next evening it was minus eight degrees. I carried three knives and a Gerber MT on that trip. The two SAKs never were used, the MT was used once and my Benchmade Grip did most of the work. It worked very well in the snow and cold weather. I recently swapped out the knife's scales from black to orange. The orange scales were a big hit and made the knife easy to find.

Nice GAW! I'm in!

What I would do if snowed in...it happens a lot, so it varies:

Snowblow, play with knives, drink some beer...the list goes on and on. :D

I'm in, being born and raised in north GA, I'd do the samething I've always done, set back and laugh at people acting crazy... :D

I'm in. I live in South GA and we had that same weather this weekend. Luckily for us we missed out on the flurries like you guys had up there. If we did have some snow though, we'd have done the same thing we did regardless. Light off either one of the fire pits or bond fires, sit around and tell stories and drink some beer.

I live in Portage, Michigan. I work for a snow removal company currently, so I would probably be working if it snowed. We get lake effect snow up here in Michigan from lake Michigan. It is supposed to snow up to four inches tonight, lake effect just stopped. I actually wish we got more snow up here. Please count me in, thanks for the chance !:p

It snowed two to three inches for the last four days up here, so i've been working almost every day this week. Hoping for snow tonight, do a rain dance for me.

Thanks for the opportunity. I am in on this. I would put another log on the fire, enjoy the snow (if possible) like I did so many years back and hope the power stays on.

I'm in, I would watch movies, eat popcorn, probably not shovel the walk. And I'm sure the voices would tell me to sharpen the knives.....

Very cool and generous gaw. I'm in.

A few years ago we did get snowed in, but fortunately we were staying in a vacation condo near a ski resort. We were only supposed to be there for the weekend. It started dumping in a big way the day before we were to leave. And just didn't stop. The kids had a ball tromping around in chest-high snow. The two fireplaces were burning almost non stop for a week. I ended up calling work for the next three or four days before we could actually get out....and we had a Jeep.

But if it happened now, I'd probably just pray the dish didn't go out. [emoji56] Last week I put my back out trying to move some snow. I'm still not walking normal.

Awesome giveaway. Only seen snow once in my life so I'd find a way to go hang outside in the snow

I'm In....Thanks for the chance for the GAW.
We got hit with a couple pretty good snows, & then some bitter single degree cold temps.
I would keep my wood stove going, and some 'comfort' type hot & hearty food would be good,
like some soup, or a stew.
I would have to at least keep the front & back door areas clear of snow.
I would prefer snow over rain, especially freezing rain, etc. this time of year, however.
Good Luck, & Best Wishes to all, B.T.B.

I am in.

If it snowed, i would cook some awesome spicy tonkotsu ramen and invite friends over and pop some beer or whisky.
