Snow, Snow, and more SNOW!!! Yuck!

It was definitely cold yesterday and today, the snow that came in what exactly what they expected. With all the blowing snow there was a drift taller than my truck that blocked my way out of the drive yesterday. Luckily there was a nice neighbor who saw me fighting with the snow who came over with his front loader tractor and made light work of my snow problem.

Gotta love it. One day it is a blizzard and the next day its 50° and a wet muddy mess. Just wont make up its mind.

Right now it is gorgeous outside. Tomorrow its not supposed to reach 25°F. Frozen mud for all.

The weather has been good, we had a couple of mild days but cold enough to stay below the freezing point to go out to the remote cabin on the snowmobile and enjoy the late winter conditions. Today its colder with fresh snow and it will be a nice afternoon out on the ski trails under sunny skies.

Ok...think this thread has nearly ( God...peleeeeeease!!!) run it's course.

Here is, what I hope. Will be its parting shot.

Translation...."where is that$@&#%^+*¥£€ groundhog!!!!!"

Lord. Deliver us from winter. Amen!

I dunno... I face a possibility of getting hit with snow by a nor'easter on Tuesday... Go figure. What season is this again??? :D

Possibilities are one thing... Here is fact, just a couple hours ago...

..... There was no snow left on streets and sidewalks this morning.

Noxious, I laughed a bit reading the cartoon. That poor groundhog looks terrified. As he should be!

They're a nuisance around here, I'm not too fond of them. They dig holes everywhere.

-22 this morning, while not unusual for this time of year, the duration of it is as we have not had any real thaw since november. I don't mind, winter is my favorite season and I am not looking forward to the miserable cold mess spring creates each year. Spring is not pretty around here unless you like cold wet conditions and months of biting flies. We make up for it later in the summer, fall, and winter too.

Yep. Almost made it a week without snow. But alas, the weather gods have struck with snow again.
