Snow, Snow, and more SNOW!!! Yuck!

Last night I was over with some friends when the snow started. Before I left their house, there was enough snow on the ground and vehicles to have a pretty substantial snowball fight. Most of the snow has now melted so it wasn't too bad. It was fun while it lasted.

I left Atlanta on an early flight to Oklahoma Monday.
When I landed it was blowing snow on a steady 25mph wind.
It hurt my sunburned face from being outside in the sunshine at "The Masters" :)

Snow was almost gone until today. Still snowing some.WTF. I'm starting to think the day after tomarrow is a possiblity for this planet's future.:(

It was above 50°F today, the snow it all melted here and they are calling for temps in the upper 60s by Easter. I'm not going to complain.

I was in Ohio (Toledo) last week and it wasn't too bad......just now that everything is thawing its all turning to mud :(

Had a good trip to the cabin, solid snowpack, good trails and the lake was fine for going on long walks during the day and during the night with the full moon. Very peaceful, the clean fresh air and the warmth of the sun on my back with the reflection back from the snow. There may yet be one more trip before it all turns to mud and slop before months of biting flies. While spring brings hope for many, it isn't for everybody depending on where one lives.

Windows down here too but for a different reason, nice weather here means I am away from the computer. One last good run to the cabin on the snowmobile, now the spring melt is underway and thoughts will soon turn to the garden and the firewood effort.

Spring is really, truly here ...... I think:rolleyes:....... No freezing temps for the next 2 weeks. Should mean that the coast is clear. I'd love to help you with your firewood, Bufford. I miss the old fireplace.... New house has got a gas fireplace. It's high performance and should be able to heat the house in an emergency. I still believe that there is nothing like a wood stove.

Sure sign that spring is here.

Forget the damn groundhog ( overgrown rat that it is....). It appears that the true sign that spring has arrived is by the sighting of turtles in a nearby pond....

Cute little critters.... Ton of them too...
