It's been snowing at our house this morning. I took my dog and my Buck 334 out for a walk. I'm beginning to enjoy carrying this model. DM

I was in the garden picking tomatoes and peppers this morning.

I was carrying a Buck 110. :-)

Nice pic David. I would like to see some snow....pushing 70 here this weekend. Can't carry personal tools where I work, but I do have a 110 in my truck.

Thanks Gents. It's still coming down here. My dog didn't really want to go on a walk this morning. She pointed some quail and they aren't flying. Just stayed under a big bush. My model 334 opens even in this cold. Sometimes steel does odd things in cold.
This one is looking North. The smaller mountains are at 7,000 and you cannot make out the tops of those standing at 8,000 ft.. DM

We are getting some light snow. We had about five days of breezy weather this past week. As usual, I have a 303 in my pocket.

Hi David,

Wow, what is that white stuff on the ground???? We sure don't get that in my part of sunny CA. However, so far this year we are getting some rain showers off and on, the Donner pass has a few feet of snow starting this years snow pac (I hope we have a long hard/wet/snow filled winter:o). It's going to be an El Nino year so they say, some area's may get some flooding:eek:.

Was thinking I needed to move south for winters, but David reminds me it snows there to. We had snow earlier in the week but it has turned to rain. Carrying my Vantage putting up Christmas lights today. Cut bailing twine, a necessary part of hanging my lights.

Sorry Dave but we too are enjoying temps in the low 70's today. I'm just lounging today on the back patio cleaning guns and watching online auctions so all I have on me is my Buck carbon fiber Apex cause it was handy.

Its pushing 70 here today. This is crazy for Dec in west central Illinois. Actual opened a few windows in the house today. Buck 110 on side today. I did switch it up a bit and for the past 2 days just been carrying the regular old 420hc model wife bought me about 10 years ago.

Bert, glad you posted this as I thought we got winds. Glad we don't get those winds. Batten down the hatches and stay indoors and ride it out. You can bury an axe out front too. Keep your 303 handy. DM

To the rest of you guys basking in balmy weather,--- I'll try to send you some of this. This morning I couldn't get out to go to Trap practice as our road was closed and they were encouraging folks to stay home. DM

We're supposed to get rain here in Eastern Nebraska tomorrow. Not cold enough to snow. Been a strange winter so far. Near 70 a few days ago. We need moisture. It's dry.

Have a BCCI 301 in my pocket that arrived today for my around the house duties. Wrapping a few gifts while the wife is out.

Joe, good prevent her from peeking. Big Red has a Bowl game against UCLA on 12-26 @ 9PM (I think I read that). In Calif.. I'll be watching it with my Father in Law a Nebraska farm boy. While there I'll sharpen his 305 Lancer. DM

Yep, warm here at 75°, wore shorts to the Christmas parade this afternoon! That snow sure is purty - nice pictures David. OH
Ps Carrying my favorite 303 today (1990 model).

Thanks, Hunter. Our high was 32* and it's forecast to drop to 20* tonight. Still, snowing here. I sharpened my wife's Buck Kitchen set. It sort of needed it but more so I needed something to do. DM

I'll gladly take some.:D I love the snow. Just doesn't feel like almost Christmas with this weather. Me and the kids were talking, it feels more like camping weather than Christmas time.

Oh, awesome. Good for you! Little bit of Big Red in your family. Although we haven't had too much to brag about this season. I'm just hoping the good NU shows up against UCLA, rather than the NOTSO good NU. Lol.

Everybody here though still cheers for the Huskers. Pretty much a religion. :)

I'm a Husker football fan....I disliked the florida teams in the 90's....so it was a natural fit. (and my sister lived in Kearney)
