So, Busse guys: What's on your wrist?

Nice Big Pilot.

That IWC is a sweet watch with an incredible movement! Nice one! Did you know it's actually 8 days but it's designed to cut off after 7 in order to keep a certain amount of tension on the spring to keep it from going slack and supposedly degrading it's efficiency over time?

Thanks.. that's a good looking Panerai you got too!

Thanks. The Mare Nostrum is a un-Panerai for a Panerai. Here's my old school Aquatimer. Actually, I sold the one in the picture and bought another one years later for a bunch more money than I had in the first one. D'oh.

If you want the time, wear a Timex.

I have an Expedition that is on its 10th year. Still works but is letting in condensation somewhere.

I like the Ironman Shocks. Simple, clean, and functional.

I had a Swiss Army just like that, one, still do somewhere in a box. I used my dad's wmployee's smoking habits and their Marlboro miles to get it for the cost of shipping, it was a good watch. I wore it until the cheap straps rotted off. I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for it when I find an old box of my things. I am wearing a GSAR daily, tank of a watch but from the day I bought it it gains anywhere from 5-7 minutes a month, which ticks me off considering what I paid for it, but toward the end of the month, I am rarely late for anything. Wish I could find someone to adjust it but it seems no one local has the skills. Oh and the luminous trianle in the bezel managed to pop itself out and get lost somewhere.

I'm not big into watches but do have four. Marathon, Swiss Army, and two Seiko's. The Seiko Kinetic Auto Relay gets the most use outside work. The Marathon is the work watch.

ive spent up to $400 on a watch, but making the leap to several thousand is not an easy one.

Mark, you could always go for a used Speedmaster Professional on that auction site. If you get one in very good condition or better and don't spend more than $1500 you could get every cent back or nearly if you change your mind. After handling every watch within reason and buying and selling a few, the Speedy remains a favorite. Not too much more than many custom folders out there ;)

I dont have any real high dollar watches. Cannot really justify them at this time.

Titanium Tissot T-touch Expert, couple of Seiko kinetics, and a Wenger and a Casio for REAL beaters.

Funny thing is, other than the stinky nylon band and super-scratchable crystal, the $20 Casio that I bought for work, is pretty handy. The indiglo-like lighting is pretty sweet.

Got the T-Touch Expert from my fiance for Xmas. It is my "nice" watch. Gotta treat it pretty good.
