So, how many pushups can you do?

True. It's amazing how hard no-weight exercises can be if you're taking them slow and really focusing on form. Loving the burn!

I'm a huge fan of crossfit and combat conditioning... I have a decent set up where I live, a 45 lb kb, wall mounted pull up bar, some dumbells and a curling bar. I'm on the mend now for a bum thigh and start physical therapy, haven't done much pt in the past couple of months. I cranked out 45 pushups w/o utilizing authorized rest positions. Pullups though, still going strong, cranked out 22. All time high for my pushups was 108 in two minutes.

Sorry FAL'ER ... had to burp this baby again :D

"I hit a milestone ... 10 million !"

If it has not been mentioned, the pull-up is much more indicative of overall body strength than a push-up is.

I have no comment. I aint sure if I can even DO a pushup. But I can work all day. I never got into weight lifting....Most of the time the work I did for my job had me to tired to lift weights for fun.

I do need to start though. I just hit 30, and Im still at 315ish....but when i was 22 my 315 was almost solid. I am just fat now LOL

It's back again!

Hit 74 consecutive this time. I'm trying to hit max points for the army fitness standard. Not sure I'll ever get there for the running, but I'm getting closer on the pushups and situps.

I do two to three reps of 50 everyday with a short break in between, usually less than 5 minutes of rest. When I was in my 20's I could bang out 120 in less than 3 minutes, but two shoulder surgeries have taken their toll on me.

Me too. Thought about getting into shape. Then I quit lying to myself. Round is a shape, right?

If I did this in the office right now, I'd be given a nice small room with padded walls for the rest of my life.

I'm getting better, 75 straight, with no breaks and I'm getting less winded each time. Trying to get rid of this weight is getting easier, since I'm spending more time outside, playing in the woods, I don't eat as much.

Pull ups, are around 8 good solid, with 12 being the best done, but there was a lot of bitching and cussing on those last 2 two.

180 push-ups every other day, with Cardio and hiking I will be ripped in about a month I'm thinkin....

I usually stop at 50ish. Probably not many more for max.
12-14 pull-ups, fists forward.

I used to do between 300 and 500 pushups a day in sets of 50 . . . but that was over 5 years ago. My shoulders were a mass of knots too. 100 was my limit . . . I tried to see how many I could do in a row a few times, hit 100, and just stopped.

I have really slacked off quite a bit. Now I do 150 pushups every other day in sets of 25. My current limit is 50 in a row. I am out of shape.
