Post-end-of-the-world EDC:

A HI Khukuri (16.5" WWII, 15" BAS, 16.5" and 20" Chiruwa Ang Khola, 21" Chitlangi, 20" Sirupati) would be my main blade I think...model depends on what I expect to encounter each day.

Boar Spear from Cold Steel or stout staff - or recurve bow.

two good mid-length Busse or Rat or Scrapyard or Ka-Bar fixed fighter. Got a Ka-Bar Next Gen D2 right now, but i'm sure there's better out there.

Fallkniven F1/S1 or BRKT Bravo-1/Northstar

Pocket Chainsaw

Good Slingshot

Misc. last ditch neck/ankle knives

A loyal dog or two.


I'd hope to have a whole stash of other tools/weapons that would be better suited to certain tasks (axes, shovels, crowbars, Busse BMs, bigger swords, tomahawks, crossbows etc.)

Of course, I'd like to have all of these readily available at wherever I'd be calling home, but I'd want another hidden stash at a separate location with duplicates of all the absolutely essential stuff (pretty much the EDC stuff I guess).

and yes, of course i'd carry a gun or two...until I ran out of ammo.

it was a very good book, written like a non-fiction. I did like "World War Z" better though. very unique how its written

Maybe those black leather wristbands with those sharp studs I remember seeing at all of those heavy metal concerts back in the 80's would be handy too.
