If Infi can stand up to being thrown than I'm going to try it at least once or twice with my dagger lol. I just don't want to blunt the tip like I did on my TGLB, doing something stupid with it.

Re-sharpen, re-profile, you can rebuild it...

I would suggest getting some cheap throwing knives to throw...

Keep the real gear at the ready, sharp tip, honed edge, ready to drain the
life fluid from anyone who would dare take up arms against you!

Or to sever the head from the undead Zombie hoard...
Well, you know what I mean...

Or slice up the Roast Beast at the table...

But at the end of the day, you paid for em, you can throw em!
 
None for me.
I love daggers, even though I dont find them practical (and they're illegal to carry here). I still buy them when I find one I like; and this one had potential... but there were a few features that kept my wallet closed.
Congrats to all that scored - even though I didn't want one, I'm still looking forward to pictures.

I have just about thrown every big knife I own at least once and my battlemistresses I have thrown thousands of times. I will not be throwing my dagger. I am not even a dagger guy, but I can imagine that if you are a dagger guy this is the grail dagger of all daggers. Incredible lines, best steel on the planet, best heat treat on the planet. I can imagine that a dagger junkie will be getting more than one or two.

Agreed, the lines are stunning. The use of CBT gives Jerry a design element that few can match.

But I didn't get one.
 
I have a feeling these will be available again soon...I think they'll be a big seller. Maybe they'll make their way into the OP2WP2 lineup, in one form/way or another.. I will be dam sad if we don't see ADs, DABAS, CABS or at least see whatever the Mac Tac is, released.

No doubt. This knife is like a light switch. There is no inbetween. Daggers are not useful knives for anything other than stabbing/fighting. You can justify the use of a dagger for other stuff, but at the end of the day, if the top swedge goes all the way to the hilt, it has only one purpose. But, at that purpose it rocks. I know I won't use it, and it is hard to spend that money on something that will literally be just a talking piece. However, the lines are just too nice to ignore.

I feel the same way. Because of the cool machining and unique look I had to order one. I think I'll carry mine while I walk my dog :)
 
In for one with black and tan G10. It is a gorgeous blade and should be the only 'Busse Art' in the collection. The rest are users.

Showed the pictures to quite a few people and every one of them had a favorable 'holy crap that is a great blade' reaction...now to figure out how to display...
 
Gorgeous blade, but I'm also in the "pass" camp, just can't see it being used here. My collection is already larger than I ever really intended and most of my "user" slots are already covered two to three deep (or more).

Not saying Jerry won't suck me in for a couple/few more before this round of Op2Wks is over, but the incremental purchase is getting harder to justify and I haven't brought myself to sell much since I stared accumulating Bussekin.

Wow that black blade and Green/Black G10 might have me sold. I am so on the fence with this one. I want it/dont want it. Trying to purchase tools now for forge, just got my antique anvil. Need to get it pinging asap. I so want this though. Its killing me. I could make my own but I would never get those corrugated lines in it and of course INFI. I am at a serious impasse right now too. I am just about skilled enough making knives that I can make a pretty good copy of these, but its never exact of course.

Not unlike a piece of art that one would enjoy looking at. But you can hold it use it ect.

Thinking on switching my comp from red/black g10 to green/black g10 on comp or black myself..The green just looks mean on it. I like the red but the red g10 they use almost never has the same pattern as other colors as seen in the busse stock photo. Orange and Tan pretty much guarantee you the pattern shown in stock photos. Red and sometimes blue not so much

Wait, does fondling not count as using anymore? Mine will probably just be used for cool pictures to be honest. I have been going with maroon canvas when given the option. I just like micarta better than g10.

Seems to me, A REAL purpose driven Busse Dagger would be Res C.
 
Heck I don't use most of mine, but then I got multiples of those. why use all 3 when you only need to use 1... Unlike like women and their shoes it's not like gee I think I'll take the black one out today the tan version won't match my rifle. Some are bought because I really wanted it, and some are definite users.
 
Rodent 6, TGLB , Batac. users.... Orange / Black FBM for example only cause I really wanted it. "need another btw lol"
 
I did get one, though I was very tempted to get two - the CF version could be a decent investment if they take off, but I have to agree that the utility of the design (not to mention legality in many areas) will likely prevent it from being valuable in the market like the TG
