I, for one, see no reason why ZT can't make a smaller EDC knife that still has (ridiculously high) quality materials, fit, and finish. Look, even Emerson, home of the clunky folder, has the mini A-100, which I sort of like, except for the chisel grind. For this amount of money (when you can find one at all), you'd think they could give me a V-grind, you know? And then there's Emerson's famous fit and finish.... >.>
Given Emerson's success with the Mini A-100, I'd think there's room for a ZT kind of 3" folder.
I have a 0561, an 0560CBCF, an 0801, and an 0600, so I think I'm moderately familiar with the large end of the ZT line. I, too, would like something smaller, perhaps not as elegant as a Ripple, an Eros, or a <cough> William Henry. ZT, of course, being the intial letters in that classic Latin phrase meaning "No girly-man knives!"
While I'm thinking about it, I think both Kershaw and ZT are missing a bet by not seriously competing in the gent's folder category. Yeah, yeah, Leek. I have a Leek and I love it, but it's not what I'm talking about. Maybe there has to be another brand that can successfully compete there.
