How Cool is That?

(only his wife and my lady friend knew, they enjoyed the laugh)

I hope everyone had a great holiday and wish all a Happy New Year!

2 Micro Tech UTx 70's white micarta/ black dual edge satin and a violet single edge satin.

got a red two tone single edge a week ago and man are these ever so nice!

My lovely wife is giving me a BM 705-401 (limited edition with silver G10) :) , but the Midwest's winter storm last Wednesday appears to have delayed it.:(

a cold steel recon1 tanto plain, a cold steel drop half serrated, a bk&t companion, and a case amber bone hobo trapper! The hobo trapper has the spoon, knife, and fork and when opened the come apart as 3 single utensils. While getting used to it I was bitten good and deep on my 1st finger, right hand. MY FAULT!. Hope everyone had a blessed Chritmas! :D :D

I managed to get a USN Edition BM 630! :D It came in a couple weeks early, but it was my Christmas Steel!

William Henry Black & Tan Westcliff, only one ounce in weight, lockup is great, blade shape is perfect or there abouts ;) It's a great combination with the BM 630 Skirmish in my pocket :)

Thanks to "Senator" for the Westcliff, arrived on the 24th! Just in time!

didnt get anything knife related from santa. I kinda prefer to get my own knives. I am planning on getting my a microtech mtx2 manual or DA. Dont know yet. Now my wish list...Spyderco's new butterfly knife, any Busse, Microtech (MTX, Terzola(SP?), anything from MODefense, TOPS, MercWorx, and believe it or not........a Chinese sword such as a Da Dao or something. Actually want 2 of those. I just think they are cool!!!!

I cant believe I left out a knife maker that I really want to get a couple knives from....I cant believe that I forgot the EVO and a few others from jensen elite blades......I think I want the EVO and the Floro Knife, and a couple other smaller blades from Peter.

I got one of those little mini red LED in a SAK type jobbies and a Puma Protec Zytel lockblade that I actually quite like. Nice shape on the blade.

Santa was very good to me this year. Quite a few arrived during December & found a spot under the tree on Christmas day. None have touched my heart as much as ZZJake's fine Buck 110 though.

Santa (my wife) got my a vintage Cold Steel Trailmaster. It was brand new
with the red "warning very sharp knife" tag still on. :D

Got a Browning 522 stag handled fish and bird folder from the family, kinda had to do the logistics part, but after that it was hands off til Christmas morning. Also got, for myself, a slightly used Case 3299 1/2 Jumbo Jack in CV. Brother in law got me a Gerber EZout that came with a diamond hone in a set. Already had a EZout, but its such a good work knife that a spare is nice to have. Not a bad haul.

This x-mas was also my 5-year wedding anniversary, so the Mrs. got me a whole slew of knives.

1) Camillus OVB, 11" in Desert Ironwood

2) Camillus OVB, 7" in Desert Ironwood

3) CS Black Bear Classic

4) SOG S1 Bowie

5) SOG S2 Trident Bowie

6) 2 Greco Whispers (which I bought for myself)

TTT for Jake's Buck 110. Very touching...

Now here's a couple of unique "knives". Oh, the possibilities! Linen Micarta or Desert Ironwood? Perhaps Mammoth Ivory?

I asked for the Becker BK9, nothing yet, but my birthday is less than a month away - I suspect it will arrive then.

I got a charge xti, kershaw blackout1550, and if there are any cb people out there I got a magnum S-9. Yep im spoiled. ;)

My wife is the best. She gave me a plain small regular Sebenza, a $50 gift certificate for the local knife store (River's Edge in Col. OH), and the Barney/Loveless book, How to Make Knives.

My son gave me an A.G. Russell mini-lockback with Chinese quincewood handles to carry at work.

Yay! :D
