My wife surprised me with a SOG Flash II Search & Rescue. I purchased myself an after Christmas present, a Victorinox Hiker & Classic combo pack.

well it seems to me santa did pretty good by everyone--nice to know the old guy know his knives--lol
 
I got a Kershaw plain stainless Chive in my stocking for Christmas. But during the few weeks prior to that, I bought myself a Kershaw Vapor, Rainbow Chive, Rainbow Leek, and Cold Steel SRK. I would say that December was a good month for knives for me.
 
I received a Marbles Yellow handled Trapper, a Mooremaker Skinner, and a MINT S&W Model 29 .44 Magnum 6". Oh, and a Stealth Cam.

I know the S&W isn't a knife, but I had to throw that in there. I'm so proud.

To each his or her own, but as far as I'm concerned a gun is BETTER than a knife. I know several people (myself included) who got into collecting knives because they are so much cheaper than guns. Yeah, one could spend as much on a knife as on a gun, but most don't.

Anyways... I'd be proud too if I just got a 29. Actually, I've been lusting after the Mountain Gun or the 629 Airlite PD. I carry a nice (to me) Taurus ported M44 right now as my griz gun, but I'd love to have an S&W. So CONGRATS!
 
Hey... I just noticed that my above post was post #29! I think that means that fate has decided that you should give your S&W 29 to ME! :D
