Santa brought me a William Henry Quest and a very early version of Charles Marlowe's tactical folder.

My mother got me an Al Mar Osprey with Briarwood scales. The Briarwood smells great, it would be nice to see that wood used more often in smaller pocketknives.

I received this Christmas gift from my little sister – She purchased one through a military attaché at the U.S. Embassy when she was at a conference in India. It is supposedly manufactured by the same military contractor that supplies the Nepalese Regiment(s) with their Kukris. It is 17” in length overall w/ a ¼” wide, 12” blade. It’s beautiful, but has no edge on it yet. This is a hefty piece of “high carbon steel” as the enclosed flyer states; any ideas on how I can put a proper edge on this sword? I'm a complete novice at this stuff.

My wife got me a Benchmade 630, AND talked her sister OUT of getting me and my son a couple of those Fury "collectible" knives that she sells at a gas station.

Additionally, I got a GPS and a set of talk about radios from my parents, and a new Stinger flashlight from my brother. I's gonna be a hiiiiighhhtech woods stomper now!
