So what kind of flashlight do YOU carry?

I used to carry an E1e and then went to a Nuwai Qiii and now carry (and I GLAD!) a JilLIght 1.3w UP - it is pictured here with my Mnandi. This thing is HALF the size of the Qiii and just every bit as bright. I LOVE this thing...

I "modded" it by adding 2 tritium vials on the tail end for easy locating in dark situations and if I drop itin the dark.

I also keep a Inova T3 in my Maxpedition MPB - my daily briefcase. This is another GREAT light - one of my favorite NON-pocket lights.

Thanks for the welcome Charlie. Yes, I am a CPF'er. I've lurked on this site in years past, but have been on more recently, so I registered. Don't really have much of a blade collection....yet. Probably the knife I like the most is my Kershaw Boron Leek.
 
Longbow Micra and Arc AAA.

When I wear a coat I usually carry a Scorpion in one of the pockets.

Surefire KL4 that I modded: removed original converter board and Luxeon V, installed Wizard 2 converter (750mA) and Luxeon III (UX1L). Mounted KL4 and Z57 clickie tailcap onto an Aleph 2x123 body (flared). Really bright now with good throw and sidespill.

My EDC has been a Peak Mckinley for a long time, but I am also carrying a fenix in addition now. I really like them both, and can't imagine not carrying either.

Although not a part of my true EDC, I also carry a Nuwai TM-301X-5 for use as a bike light almost every day.
 
Photon Freedom (violet) and Arc AAA Premium on keychain. I used to carry a Surefire L2 a lot, but it's too big so I don't much anymore. I just received (yesterday) a Fenix L1P that I plan on carrying. I'm thinking of trying out a Surefire L1.

Since I ride a bike everywhere, I also have my headlight, which I very recently upgraded to a Light and Motion Vega with an 85 lumen 3W Luxeon.
 
My main EDC is a HDS Ultimate 60. I carried an Arc4 before getting the HDS, so I'm pretty devoted to that general design and interface.

When I go for a walk at night, I'll sometimes also carry a Surefire G2Z with a P61 HOLA. It's really bright, has good throw, and lets you see colors better outdoors.

I used to carry a JIL 1.3w on my keychain, but took it off after a week or so. It's such a nice little flashlight that I couldn't stand to watch it get banged up by my keys!

What's the connection between HDS and Arc? The descriptions say stuff like "Improvements over the Arc4..."

in 3 different coat pockets, Surefire L4, INOVA X5T w/TID, and another Photon 2.
 
I've got a Inova X5 and a red Photon Freedom Micro on the keychain, a River Rock 2 AAA .5 wat led in a pocket, and a Streamlight NF-2 in my EDC bag. I work at night so what used to be a semi justifiable fetish, is now fully justifiable. :D
 
Arc AAA in the watch pocket and Princeton Tec Attitude 4xAAA in my EDC bag. I like having interchangeable batteries.
 
I carry a Mini Maglite upgraded with a TerraLUX TLE-5 MiniStar2 LED module. I wear a Gerber Infinity Ultra on a neck lanyard around the house after dark.

I take a Streamlight 4AA ProPolymer Luxeon along on walks and when I put the dog out.
 
6 cell C size maglight.... just kidding, that's only if I go out in the dark. I carry a little single LED light like this

I was worried I was the only one. Mine's got the shock head bezel and I have the snap-off red filter.

Is the P61 lamp really twice as bright, and does it make a really big difference?
 
I carry an Arc AAA everywhere. In my workbag I have the Nuwai Q3, which I'm thinking about replacing with a Fenix L1P because it uses the more common AA battery.
