My daily carry changes whenever I find a better solution. These are my current ones:

I always have a Microtech SOCOM M/A and a Spyderco Dragonfly with me for utility. The third knife (righty) is either a T-handle or a Polkowski CQ Fighter. The fourth (usually lefty) is a 4" or 5" bali. And sometimes I'll have a HALO with me as well.

When on the move, I keep a Spydie Wegner and Leatherman Supertool in my bag at all times.

Thought I would put this in..for fun..

Vince, Chief Engineer at Spydie..guess what his favorite daily carry is? Yep, the C55 Starmate....been carrying it for quite a spell now....

I'll just duck now, while ya'll make a run for his throat....lol

(Toldja I was gonna post this, Vince...)

Danelle

Axis lock or C16. Would carry the Starmate but I haven't seen ONE YET! Oh yea either a 2.5" .357 iwp, or mostly CCO iwp.

Lately my workday carry has been a custom David Boye folder in right front pants pocket and a REKAT drop point Pioneer in right side belt pouch.

Spent Saturday strolling around SF with the Mrs. Carried MD Lab Rat in the IWB sheath between belt and pants right over my right front pocket (got to be open carry to be legal here).

Orion,

Where the #$%& to you live, or what the heck is you moonlighting job? Hunting vampires and werewolves (a la "Blade"). That is what I first thought of when I read your list. Although, I can't decide if I'm just surprised at the hardware, or envious
wink.gif
.

I mentioned to a friend the other day who remarked about how many blades I carry (a measley 3 or 4) that al long as you didn't clank when you walked, you weren't carrying too many. So, be serious, do any of you clank when you walk. Sorry, I just couldn't help it, I really am envious of all this hardware I'm reading about here.

For me, my daily is a Buck Maverick in right front pocket, a SAK Executive in the left front, and a BM 710 IWB on the right hip. I'm waiting for a Spydie Native Lt. Wt. to take up position in the right front pocket (for utility), then I just need something to take up the left front pocket for my off hand, just in case. Dunno what, though...yet.

Lessee..... Right now, it's the 800sl in my front left pocket, and the Leatherman Wave on my left hip.

Yesterday, it was the 710s in my front left pocket.

Usually it's either the 710 or 800 front left, and the 812sl clipped in my rear pocket.

The Wave is always somewhere, either in the sheath, or free floating in my pocket.

There's also a pretty good chance that a Wedge will be around my neck on any given day.

Small SAK
Rose wood handled Buck Stockman (box cutter)
EDI Genesis
Crescent plyers G-26(don't need no stinkin multi-tool)
Sometimes - BM44 or large Aikuchi in various homemade stealth configurations.

Have "Awl for All" will travel

Well, let's see:

Right front pocket: AFCK SBT, Sentinel SBT, or CQC7 S.

Left pocket: Leatherman Micra and Kershaw money clip

Right hip (Camping): SOG Northwest Ranger, SOG Desert Dagger

Car (Behind-the-seat backup): SOG Pentagon

Dress knife: BM Pat Crawford, plain polished blade, aluminium handle, old style.

I don't always carry the same knives every day, but I usually carry a small innocent blade like a Benchmade 330 Gent or a Spyderco Mini-Dyad inside my right front pocket for small cutting jobs. Then I also have a larger knife clipped in my right rear pocket for when I need quick access to a blade or for bigger jobs. Its either a Calypso Jr. or M-2 Mini-AFCK, but most frequently, its been a BM Pinnacle.

When I want to carry just one knife, its either a Leopard Cub or William Henry Spearpoint in the front pocket.

Alan

Wow, I almost feel under-dressed (or is that under-knifed?).
smile.gif

I carry an M2 Mini-AFCK and a SAK daily, and add a Leatherman Wave on weekends.

AJ

Okay, I gotta post and then its to the gym.

I work in Real Estate and Mortgagte brokering, so I do not get to scare the public as I might like to, so on a dialy basis it is either an old style endura, Mini Afck, Mini Leopard, Leopard, delica or CS Voyager 3" or 4" in front right pocket (I am moody) Spydie co-pilot around money in left front pocket, perhaps endura cliped backwards in left front as well, a Newt Livesay Uji or CS Recon Tanto in Briefcase, CS Large Voyager Clip Point in Desk Drawer next to the Monodnock folding baton, another CS Large Voyager in center armrest and SRK in trunk of car. It all depends on where my day may take me. Trunk also has a Stanley hammer in it, if you want to get picky.

This is the first time I've read this post. I must say, I don't feel so alone when it comes to the number of knives carried.

Average daily, 4" CS voyager, right front. Lightfoot Neck Razor, neck. Lightfoot Mini-Hammer, behind the back.

Other options depending on dress, Dozier neck knive, Fred Perrin La Griffe usually neck sometimes inside waist band. Lightfoot Neck Razor or Brian Tighe Alo behind the back.

Due to my build and the way most clothes fit me, these are my carry options. I am usually referred to by my friends as the power midget. 5'4" 210lbs. A little more fat than in my powerlifting days. If I can get down to a svelt 180lbs, my carry options will increase.

Outlaw Dogboy-

What's my moonlighting job? Can't tell you, or I'd have to kill you.... (insert smiley face here).

Really, I don't need to say, but I can tell you this- I also carry a Glock 9, a sawed off Winchester 16 guage and a Ruger 10/22 modified fully auto w/ 30 rd. clip and scope. And yes.... I clank when I walk!!!!!!!

When I want (need) to be more discreet (read:NOT CLANK) I only carry the Blackwind, the Nimravus, the Glock and the throwing knives.

I once had to crawl about 200 yds. through a 30" sewage pipe, so everything had to stay behind but the Glock and the AFCK. Needless to say, I felt really naked when I got to where I was going. Luckily, (as in most cases) I didn't need to use any of it. All I had to use was the cuffs.

Now- I'll let you guess what my moonlighting job is.....

Orion

My guess would be skip trace/bounty hunter (fits with your handle on here)...either that or a cop in a department with no standards for weapon carry.
wink.gif

And if you maintain that I'm incorrect and then say your partner is a cute jewish girl named Buffy, well...I'm afraid I'm going to have to stop taking you seriously.

ROTFLMAO.
The sidekick named Buffy was on my mind to. I'm hoping just a bounty hunter, vs. "slayer."

Remind me never to get in trouble and skip bail, just in case.

I think we should start a new thread..."Guess Orion's moonlighting job". Maybe for the winner, assuming he/she doesn't have to be executed in the name of national security, the prize could be a Sypdie Military, BM Nimravus, BM 800 in M2, or the a short sword.
