I'm in Waterbury. Recently started collecting axes. Looking to organize an axe collectors meet at some point. https://www.facebook.com/groups/899678427843993Mainly into large fixed blade knives. I have a Winkler Combat Axe on order. However I do like a vintage bearded, hewing or double bit axe.
Ha - maybe our paths crossed at some point? I spent the better part of 5 years in Chile (southern Patagonia) and now live on the ID/WY border. I've spent a fair bit of time in AK as wellBorn in Chile, raised in multiple Latin American countries. Settled in TX for a while (I miss the people and food, but not the bugs or heat), spent time in MT, and moved from ID to Alaska (never leaving!).
You spent longer in Chile than I did! You also live in a beautiful part of the US. I do miss seeing elk and mulies! I can’t explain it to people, but AK is the first place I felt was home. I friggin LOVE it here despite some drawbacks.Ha - maybe our paths crossed at some point? I spent the better part of 5 years in Chile (southern Patagonia) and now live on the ID/WY border. We live 15mins apart depending on where in Wesley chapel. I’m just south west of you in Carrollwood. If you haven’t yet I would hit up Nobel Crust at wiregrass for brunch. Full disclaimer it is my in laws place but their food is excellent.Born in Geneva Ohio, when I was 10 we moved a bit south to Boardman, outside of Youngstown. After college I lived in and around the greater Akron-Cleveland area spending the last 16 years in Lake Milton. Last summer we moved to Wesley Chapel Florida and if I have my way when I die they can wheel me across the street to one of the water retention ponds and feed me to the gators, because I never want to move again.. haha.
Also, the other LA!Mobile, Alabama. The Other “City by the Bay”.
That’s OK, it was called Pennsyltucky for awhile. We’ll get it figured out.Central PA, in Harrisburg. "Third try for capital of Pennsylvania".
I was also born in Cleveland, OH. Moved to CT when I was around 5.Born and raised in Cleveland, OH, save for three years for college in Tampa, Florida. Strongly considering moving to the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
