So, which knife will be your first of 2001?

My first knife purchase of the new year will most likely be a 705. My 710 has been asking for a little brother and, what the heck, he's been a good boy this year. The knife fund, however, is on hold until atleast July if rumors of the revisions to the Michigan CCW permit system are true. Then I've got to pick up a new Walther PPK, as well as paying the rumored $200 for the permit. No new pointy things for awhile though.

My first purchase of 2001 will be a Michael Snody Karma Kubikiri. I have decided that 2001 will be my year to purchase custom Japanese style blades.

I ordered my Gunting on New Year's Eve. I figured it was a fitting way to join the Gunting Cult.

I think I've pretty much got all I need (ducking the rotten eggs and tomatoes)...

I still want a big 7 1/2" or so knife for the great outdoors, but I can't seem to find anything that 5 1/2" won't do yet.

I guess I need to try harder!

do knives ordered prior to the new year count? if so, mine will be a Microtech Clip point socom, and a spyderco blue mosaic inlay native, whichever arrives first.

as for the next one I buy/trade/acquire, well maybe a custom buck 110, or another millitary in CPM440v to go with my ats-34 millitary. or possible a root beer mosaic native to go with my blue mosaic native...or a mike mann custom "cliff" knife, or a Microtech Combat Talon II, or ....
so many knives, so little money.
