So, which new Cold Steel are YOU getting?

4-Max, but not at MSRP. If I can find it at $220 or maybe even $250 then it would be a no brainer.

Anyone know if they're improving the Ti-lites?

Yes, they'll be offered in XHP.

I myself will be looking to get a Black Talon (plain edge), BD1 Large clip point Voyager, 3V Mini Pendleton, and the Finn Wolf. I want to handle the Tiger Claw and see how the lock works/feels.

My local Canadian knife store has the old model 6" blade Hold-out [ which I own ] for $90.00 and the new model Hold-out [ which isn't in yet] for $199.00. So are you Mensa members really going to spend an extra $110.00 for virtually the same knife because it's made out of more expensive steel which will almost certainly not make the slightest practical difference to you!!!? If so, you guys have more money than you know what to do with. For a $110.00 you could buy another good quality knife.

Tell your local Canadian knife stores to quit charging retarded prices, eh? I can preorder the new model Hold Out 1 right now for $149, and once it comes out and has been out a few months, the price will drop even lower than that.

US made, CPM-20V, 10 ounces, 10 inch overall length...you won't find it that low for awhile. Right now, it's listed for pre-order at $360 at Knifecenter...

Really, "retarded" is the best adjective you can come up with? Low class...

Hope you enjoy those. I'm looking at the Ti-Lites and a couple others.

Not a lot of competition or choices out there for something similar to a Ti-Lite....

There are several of their new lineup that catch my eye:

- Swift 1 that looks like it could be pretty sweet.
- Like the OP, the 4-Max is definitely on my radar.
- That AK47 field knife looks like it'd be a great user out in the woods.
- Ultimate hunter looks like it would fit great in the hand and be a good folding bushcrafjer type blade.
- The Lawman in XHP? Yes please.
- That Viking handaxe looks cool.
- If I found an opportunity to see how that Finn Wolf fit my hand, I'd probably buy it.

A few headscratchers (which are really, typical Cold Steel) are the three Steven Seagal "weapons". I don't even know what's going on there. I guess the walking stick could be useful (without all the ridiculous CS rhetoric in the description).

It WON'T be the "Steven Seagal Helmet Breaker". As if CS didn't have enough to worry about with the "All Tacticul all da time" styling, now they've got Seagal's name on something. I LIKE their stuff, too, still want an Arc Angel, and other items..but wow. As if it isn't difficult enough defending them.
Has anyone seen Seagal lately? Shoulda named the knife the "chair breaker" :D

Joke #2: Steven Seagal and Lynn Thompson walk into a bar. Except they didn't. Lynn's inside, Seagal had a coronary from the effort of getting out of the car seat.

I like Andrew Demko's stuff. It's hard to decide, if only I had an unlimited budget...

It'll probably be just the mini AK47 with the new steel, and maybe the folding tiger claw.

3 V Master Hunter, perfect

^I'll be getting one of these^
I really like the Master Hunter and my experience with 3v has been very positive.
The four dollar increase in price for 3v is almost unbelievable.

Recon 1 clip point in CTS-XHP will be hard to resist. I'd like to try something in 3V only because I dont have anything in that steel.
