Dang, Chris at GEC does not mess around! Preordered directly through them a few weeks ago, email on Wednesday (two days ago) with invoice stating they'd run my card, come home this evening and my OD Green Linen Micarta Bull Nose is waiting in the mailbox for me. I didn't figure I'd see it until next week some time. Pics tomorrow.

Received this unexpensive Imperial. Razor sharp (steel is goo old 400 stainless) , she needs some running in as the w & t is a bit rough at some places. Finish is good but it clearly has not been polished enough (IMHO under R&R for price/quality ratio). This will soften with use.

Still can't believe this got here so fast! Huge thanks to Chris at GEC, incredible service! And I love the knife! It's my first Bull Nose... heck, it's my first Sodbuster! Really happy with it. I think the texture of the linen in the Micarta just looks incredible.

A lot of talk of the Natural Linen and Green Linen GEC 71's... No love for the Black Linen? I just ordered one and can't wait! I got back from a week long deer hunt to an email that they'd just become available. I'm so glad some were left this time, I've always missed out on the 71's.

I got the email that the OD were up, so ordered one on Thursday. Then saw the nifebright on Friday and ordered one of those. THEN, I get the email on the natural linen today, which naturally I had to pick up. I think I have a sodbuster problem! Lol.
And those sunbright acrylics....no way I'm not picking one of those up (if I can find them). My sunbright beer scout is my favorite of that line.

Well.. Its looking like this aint gonna happen..
Was having computer problems and could not log on.. Got it fixed today and saw my notice.. Got back too late and they are all gone.. Darn computers!! Was really looking forward to this knife.. John
With all the new Bullnoses coming this new Case Soddie slipped under the radar on me, a Mediterranean Blue Damascus!
Looks much better than the last Damascus sodbuster they did.

These Sod Buster style knives are just great!!! I've got them with orange delrin, black delrin, green canvas micarta, yellow delrin, blue composite, and red linen micarta but the one I carry everyday is this black delrin Bull Nose with an added bail.
I wish GEC hadn't strayed from 01 tool steel for their blades on these knives. I do not think it is any better or worse than 1095, it's just that I like the association of 01 Tool Steel with Sod Buster, Bull Nose, Bull Buster, etc. knives. Kinda has a working man's ring to it. I'd pay an extra ten bucks for one of these types of knives currently in production with 01 versus 1095. Maybe even 15 bucks.
Anyway, a lot of nice knives already in members possession with it looks like a lot more coming,

I'm a fan! I bought one about a month ago, and it's been a great pocket carry. I was oiling up some stuff with Eezox, and on a whim I rubbed some into the scales, and it slightly deepened the color and made them gleam a bit - an improvement in my opinion. I'd get one if you find one, they're just too inexpensive to deny yourself the pleasure.
