A few GEC Bull Nose sodbuster types

and a Mudbug

and the SFO Bull Nose Work Knife commissioned by Mike Latham @knifeswapper that started the GEC Red Neck (now discontinued) and the Farm & Field Bull Nose and Bull Buster.

It was billed as a Factory Test Run by GEC. There were 29 of these knives made.

Nice job, and i mean really well done.Cool soddie![]()
, had not seen one like that yet
I spent sometime yesterday afternoon to give the gift of mirror polished bevels to my special chestnut ss junior
I reprofiled the bevel to 15 degrees per side ( factory one was very steep, double that at least). I then polished it with 3M lapping film. ..... scary sharp

Bear&Sons I bought my nephew about 4 years ago. Although he carries the Kershaw chive I gave him daily, this ol'soddie has seen quite a bit of use

Yeah nice feeling to have given a traditional working knife to someone and see it's been used as intended"Work 'em hard" .... literally![]()

Lol, that kinda fits himMSB?
Misplaced Silly Billy???![]()
I will admit the one I kept for myself is a bear to unlock. Bear&Son would have so much potential if they just cared enough to maintain good quality control, imho.Hope everyone had a good Christmas and is having a good break if you are having one. This is a large Bear&Son sodbuster, went straight into the tool box when i received it..

I agree completely, this one has the same unlocking issues and up and down blade play. Was not worth it to return it, so straight into the tool box it went. Hope you had a good Christmas mate.I will admit the one I kept for myself is a bear to unlock. Bear&Son would have so much potential if they just cared enough to maintain good quality control, imho.
