1. As far as being treated unfairly and taking it lying down....care to explain to me how "fair" UK gun and knife laws are, compared to the US?

You have been baiting me since the beginning, you go through my posts and ignore all my points and just pick out little bits you can have a snipe at. Every opportunity to suggest I'm lying you have taken.

I've seen your photo since i last posted and i must say, i thought you would be bigger. I'll see you at a show and we can put this to bed properly. We'll see who the W****R really is.

As for my true colours coming out.
I'm mighty pissed off with this whole thing, I'm losing money and time on this deal even with a refund. the retailer is making money out of the second knife in the deal. The knife was damaged before packing. I never asked people to question whether i am a liar. I gave the facts and wanted some help. My business will go elsewhere from now on. I will always think the retailer treated me badly no matter what anybody else says. An apology costs nothing.

As this is my thread and i am polite. I feel i have to keep responding when people post. It's getting very old now and I'm getting pulled into places i never intended to be so unless you really need the last word could we leave this thread here, Or if it is lockable, please do so and throw away the key.

I would like to add that this is only the second negative experience (I'll need some more advice soon:)) i have had in the US knife industry and any Knifemakers or Retailers that know who i am will know I'm actually very laid back.

Chuckles, you have just about ensured your candidacy for the W****R hall of fame. Congrats! Well earned. A few more internet tough-guy threats should seal the deal. Maybe insult my mother one more time if it makes you feel better about yourself somehow. I know you won't disappoint. ;)

I don't have experience with dealing with people like you over the Internet, You call me names, i get annoyed. Somehow this makes me look worse because this argument can't really go anywhere. You have much more experience than me on Forums and your tactic of baiting and then twisting seems to work for you. Am i a tough guy? I certainly would not let you call me names to my face, It is all to easy to add the little symbol or 'chuckles' when your online but would you really use it if we were face to face? If so, then you are rude and would need to be taught some manners - this is how life works.
If you would not, what makes you think it is acceptable when conversing through forums. Perhaps this is just sport to you. Or you are a just a bully.
I make it very clear that i will respond to posts on my thread and yet you post again and again and then criticize me for doing what i have told i will do. I am sure that for as much of a bad first impression i may have made on a board that i do not use, people will have also seen a side of you that you should not be proud of. I believe it is your reputation that you should be worried about.
I have probably fallen into another of your little traps here, if so, well done.

I don't even know where to begin with all of that. But it is more than a little strange that the one making all the keyboard tough guy threats of the we've-seen-it-so-often-before "You just wait 'till I meet up with you..." type is accusing me of being a bully.

It is also more than passing strange that an adult could be whining about "I feel I have to keep responding when people post" and "getting pulled into places I never intended to be" and "falling into traps". Man, did you actually say all of that stuff? Yep, you did. What are you, 12?

Just so we're clear - I am somehow MAKING you respond to this thread even though you don't really want to. :D And I am forcing you to make keyboard tough-guy threats?

Do you ever take responsibility for your own actions, or is it pretty much always someone else's fault when you carry on like a perfect jackass?

Like I said, I think your own words amply demonstrate who and what you are. Unless you are claiming that I have somehow jacked your ID and made all those posts under your name, it's going to be a pretty tough sell that I somehow made you do it.

If you "feel you must respond even though you really want to let the thread die" :p go right ahead. Just understand that the decision is yours - nobody is forcing you to do it. And the content is yours as well - nobody is writing it for you.

PS - I am starting to think - given you're repeated return to this whole "I'll catch up with you at a show and show you who a W*****R is.." bit that you must actually be 12. Grown-ups (at least those who have managed to more or less stay out of jail) don't tend to really believe that this could be proof of anything. And then there's all the "An Englishman would never..blah blah blah - remember!" stuff that has a strong juveline ring to it.

Since you were asking for advice - here's some: Get off your high horse, bring your little tantrum to an end and start contributing to the forum by participating in some actual discussion about knives. There's a fair bit of that going on, you know.

I do find you to be quite amusing, though, so I have no objection if you wish keep up with the preposterous posts. Good comedy is hard to come by. :thumbup: And if that is to be the extent of your contributions to this forum - hey - that's your choice, too.

I do regret suggesting that you were 12, however. Seems I likely erred on the high side.

I think you have handled yourself well but just let it go at this point and you'll be fine and can move on. Feeding the fire with another comment will just start it roaring up again anyways and as my late father used to say the best way to kill a fire is to dowse it with water (which you did quite well in your last post I might add), but if you don't have any to spare just stop feeding it and it should die on its own.

Frazer B has numerous times insulted the citizens and the culture of the United States of America. His comments are carefully couched as backwards insults. His somtimes polite tone belies the content of his words. See him for what he is.

On this forum people get banned for making remarks that are negative and related to ethnicity, race or country of origin.

Ban him for insulting the United States of America and its culture. He'd have been banned by now if the comments were made by a US citizen about the British, Itialians, Africans, etc.

Try some "Acraglas" on the chip. Way tougher than epoxy, reasonably cheap (cheaper than all this "round & "round" w/ tax & etc.) Available from "Brownell's" in the U.S. Maybe somewhere in the U.K., don't know.
 
Montgomery, Here's a few of his back handed insults:

"Perhaps 'across the pond' we are used to being treated a little better as a loyal returning customer, perhaps that is why the pound is strong."

"Maybe this will inspire me to set up a good European based retailer."

"I understand that Knife collectors, retailers and knife photographers have a close relationship in the US and feel that i must be treading on peoples toes, otherwise common sense would prevail."

"If this is how good customers are treated in the US then i would not expect an economic upturn anytime soon."

Frazer has some obvious prejudice and enjoys expressing it.
