Some Herman Williams Goodness

Hi Herman!! Good to see you back in the forum!!

You certainly continue to create Schrade works of art. The handsome dark honey color of the stag is just remarkable.
One of late is the 153UH you put your stamp on. Excellent job on the 1-piece handle and the turning on the blade has a 3D effect. If I may use a couple of your pics ..........
NICE WORK!!

Howie

Could be the nicest Golden Spike ever!:thumbup: I was watching the auction. I'm glad you got this one Howie! All you need now is a H. Williams 171UH and that whole display of his work would (will soon be? lol) be complete. How many H. Williams knives do you have now?

Don't know where they all got to, but I did several of those 51OT knives with the clip blade. It is just the stock 51Ot blade clipped. I think some of them had laminated wood handles, most were stag. Herman[/B]

Great to see you around these parts again, Herman! Hang out for a while, please! And thanks for the info on my knife!

Dave

Those works of art are truly spectacular. Thank you for introducing me to his work.

Herman's work is irresistible , the depth and colour of his stag and the workmanship he puts into his knives are imo second to none , keeps me coming back for more . Here's a couple of folders i have had for a little while ......

Latest Herman Williams work of art added to the Howie's Schrade Shack collection

Herman completely NAILED the coloring of a vintage 8OT!!!
I've had it a month and I still can't get over the craftsmanship Herman put into this knife

Have found a matching box and paperwork to properly display it

All excellent. I really like AussieBosun's Barlow. Is Herman still doing these knives, and if so what might be it cost to have him work his magic on one?

Very similar, beautiful work as usual by 'The Master'. The swedge being up to the fifth last match strike in the nail niche dates it to mid 1960's production...with the genuine bone handle examples I've noted the swedge extends up and over further along to the third last match strike...I would never be confused by them both, however its the next best thing until the real deal comes along...love to see a photo of it in the contemporary box for the period. Well done, Howieareyu.. Hoo Roo.

Nice pick up Howie , that is a beauty ,

Ballenxj , Herman is still in producing some fine pieces , search ebay under his username "electra_225"
