My girlfriend bought a batanga clip blade as a surprise present. Needless to say I was surprised to hear her credit card was charged and she has been a month now and still no knife.As always with PVK knifes,any and all emails,phone calls and attempts towards resolving issues have been ignored completely.I will keep you all posted on the situation when we either receive the knife or 100% confirm if we have been ripped off.

If I would have known she was going to order a batanga balisong online I would have told her give the business to Pinoy steel. Although I have never done any business with Pinoy Steel "YET", I have seen that Pinoy steel is an active forum participant who seems to communicate very well with anyone and everyone. The next time a Balisong is being purchased it will be from Pinoy Steel.
 
It's the thought that counts right? Yeah right fuck that, give me my present!

Thank you kindly gentlemen. :) I love Batangas balisongs and I'm proud to be able to share them with the world! John, I hope you get your knife, but if not, ask your girl to call your credit card company and file a chargeback. PVK won't be happy about getting hit with the fees.
 
thank you for the advice,I will have her get on that ASAP.At this point Id rather her get her money back. Pinoy steel will be hearing from us soon

I am not sure what is going on with Josh lately?? I have ordered so much from him with out an issue, he seems to be a bit off these days. I know he has been around for quite a while, I mean he use to have a mail order catalog back in the 80's and 90's. I would just keep emailing him and calling or put a CC chargeback, that probably should get him going. Goodluck!!
 
Still nothing.....my money order was sent and cashed to his bank account. His has yet to answer my email or phone calls. There was info floating around that he was arrested. I just wish I could get this resolved
 
Josh has been going through an unusually tough time lately as I understand it. I've know Josh a long time and have never known him to be dishonest. My bet is that you will get your items. If you live outside the US there could be other forces at play that are beyond Joshs control.

What "unusually tough time lately"? This pattern has been typical of his operation for years now.

"TWO MONTHS NOW",still no response what so ever. This is straight up crap I have called and emailed almost every other day for the past month now.I can honestly say I believe Josh Burbank/PVK knives has ripped us off and has no intentions at all in making things right.He probably figures were in Arizona and he is in Massachusetts so screw us. It's not like we are able to take a 2600 mile road trip over a $100 knife. I have filed a claim with my girlfriend's card and at the least he will get nailed on the charge back , it wont be another month till we get our money back. What a total Drama scene over nothing,all he had to do was take our order throw the bali in the box or package mail it off and there ya go. Its really not too hard to figure out as well the phone rings you pick it up,"hello this is pvk knives josh speaking" oh yes sir were experiencing some trouble with our shipping department we will have that knife to you by next week at the latest. i apologize for the mix up sir we do appreciate your business,thank you sir have a nice day.EASY RIGHT... It's much easier than not picking up you phone or returning phone calls hiding from your paying customers and hoping it will a magically start to come together for the best .WOW Im just ranting on here now , regardless of my being upset . PVK is a total RIP OFF,do not send your money to Josh Burbank he will take your money and ignore you until you either figure to much a hassle to deal with and give up or take a 2600 mile road trip to handle up on your business either way is dusty ass hell and PVK is done in my book!!!
 
Wow, I'm glad I checked this forum before I ordered anything. PVK supposedly has a Kershaw Breakout in red. I'm sure that this guy doesn't actually have it in stock because it is sold out everywhere else. Would have probably been another drama.
