Thanks! That looks amazing!! Ive always wanted to try that but just haven't got up the nerve lol.I agree. To me one of the great things about natural materials is that they are not cookie cutter pieces of plastic. That each is unique to me is a plus. I see the pile side not as flawed but as a bonus. Ya never know what's gonna happen. That's half the fun!

Thanks John, I was happy with the jigging on this one. Other than that dang cover I was happy with the whole build lol. You know how it is, just the way it goes sometimes.I love the jigging on that one Tim, really old school. The light color on the one side is aggravating when it's not part of the plan but it does give it character. Those coined liners and easy open make that thing pop, love that pattern.

Hello all just finished this one up and its headed to its new home. This one is in burgundy micarta. I have a video of the walk and talk over in the post in the ForSale:Folders section of forum if you interested.

Well, what’s your new knifeThanks John. I got to find a knife for next week!
I'm still working on it. The holidays slowed me down.Well, what’s your new knife![]()
Awesome! I'm glad you are enjoying that one. Im hoping to have one done maybe next week. Still deciding on a handle material. I have one in in mind that I haven't used before but we will see.
Nice score!

I'm glad you are liking it! O1 does hold up pretty good. I think the little bit of chromium in O1 adds a little corrosion resistance and slows the patina down some. Ive noticed onions and tomatoes speed up the patina.I’m amazed at how well the 01 is holding up. I have been carrying and using these. It doesn’t seem to patina as quickly as some of my 1095 steel.

Thanks John. Yeah I really like the Narra wood too. It looks kinda plane and ordinary until you get to the 600+ grit then the color and darker grain starts to pop. That Narra wood looks awesome I really like the logo on the bolster, looks classic.
