That is a great combo of tools for an active outdoorsman. I love seeing well thought out SAK mods. The honest wear on those Alox scales let's me know that knife has some good stories to tell...

Just seen these latest lovelies from Victorinox............be careful though, they are lockers..! I know that some of you are sometimes in places where locking knives aren't so welcome.

I like the tools on the red one, especially the new package opener, and I like that they don’t have a bail on them, but the liner lock and the pocket clip just don’t work for me on a SAK.
I like carrying both my traditionals and my modern folders, but the things I love about an SAK firmly line up with is being a slip joint that slide into my pocket next to my wallet, and a clip and lock only make the knife thicker and less comfortable to use for me.

Really hope we see some of the takeaways from these models expanded.

My no-bail Pioneer has and will always be my single most carried knife of all time!
