Some Sprint Ideas for Sal

Military. Black CPM M4. Black CF grips. Compression lock. I like one hand open and close capability in a big knife. Simple, plausable and can be achieved with an attainable MSRP under $400.

That would probably never happen since, from what I can remember, Hitachi (Manufacturer of ZDP-189) doesn't like other people heat treating their steel outside Japan. The cost of getting the steel shipped to golden to be machined and ground then sent back to Japan to be heat treated and sent back to golden for final finishing work would get pretty dang expensive.
 
More g10 endura sprints, or even better one with that new style cf and zdp=dream knife or a calypso in the same flavor, mmmmmmmm
 
Lots of good ideas in this thread. I would love to see some sprint Southards; god knows they will sell out and command a premium. A stainless steel insert would make the southard even better. How about a sprint Gayle Bradley? I don't know how to make that knife more awesome but it does sound exciting.
 
I would like to see black S110V with a CF/Ti-framelock Military. Also an Orange military with M4. :eek:

It's actually motivated me to want to built a custom knife. When I get some spare time. Lol

Pretty much any configuration of sprint quality.
With the prices the Jester is commanding in the secondary market the time is ripe.
 
I'd also like to see more M4 blades between 3 to 4". Another M4 military, M4 PM2, M4 domino, M4 Southard, etc...
 
1,000 pieces only of...........let's go way back to a rare classic. How about a anodized titanium compression frame lock with a Super Blue blade? That's right a supped up Sprint Run of the A.T.R.!

This is a fabulous idea! Although if I may suggest, sculpted carbon fiber on one side and Ti on the other. Change it to a frame lock with steel insert on lock bar. Yes, it will cost $250, but I will still buy one.

I can also envision a larger version of the Techno. I seem to recall a pic of another Marcin Slysz design floating around that is darn close to what I want.
 
How about Golden made Caly 3 with M390 steel and screws instead of pins for scales.Stonewashed blade with G-10 handle.:)
It's not gonna happen I know (just dreaming)so lets go with full ZDP-189 blade(no laminate) and G-10 handle.
 
I'd love to see the Street Bowie done like the Street Beat....full tang satin and G10 scales. Steel upgrade (especially carbon steel) a bonus!
 
How about taking a cheapie but goody like the tenacious and dressing it up with S30V or VG10 and titanium liners
