True. It's expensive to get friends to ship it, too. I'll trade Spotted Cow for other similarly difficult to acquire beverages, though. I was bummed recently when I found out that there's no Lowenbräu distribution in the USA.

Growing up in Rochester, NY, I never fell for a warm day or two. The climate there has been described as 9 months of winter followed by 3 months of poor sledding weather. Also, the seasons as: Almost Winter, Winter, Still Winter and Construction. They even have a meme (or 10):

Add some snow and you have instant and sometimes deceased idiots. I like Jeeps, but around here that's usually what you see in the ditch the first snow....and second, and third....seems a few people here don't realize that 4WD doesn't mean your brakes will slow down your vehicle when the highway department has asked that all non-essential personnel stay off the damned roads. I see 4WD vehicles spun out and off the road more than any other kind....with the exception of Subarus - those are usually purchased by lifelong New Englanders who know how to handle a beer and drive in the snow simultaneously.

Characters in that were great, but the wife and I got bored after a while because the end point of that plot is fixed, so it literally can't go anywhere.

Yeah, as far as I know, all 4-wheeled vehicles on the road are already equipped with 4-wheel stop.

looks like specs say 480 lumens? outstanding for the size.

i have a small older Fenix P1D and i think the S1 is smaller and brighter :D

It's a bright little light, the operation is a little slow to cycle through the modes, but it has a nice beam that's got decent range for a pocket light. I think I like my slightly longer Eagletac D25C better, but only because of simpler operations and a nicer pocket feel, it's a little lower profile than the Olight, even if it is half an inch longer.

While I don't condone drinking and driving, I do own an Outback. I have yet to drive it in the snow, though, because the PNW doesn't get snow ever :(

Got some blades out. Case of black and tan on ice. Couple bottles of whiskey. Few jars of shine. Got some fat lighter ready for this evening. Couple fishing reels ready to go just in case as well.

Should be a good time. The weather looks like it's going to cooperate too.
 
I want to know about this deal...at the same time, I'm not sure. :D
