Awhile back my buddy Jason and I got talkin about khukuri's

Jason got that twisted mind going

To make a long story short he did not make a Khukuri for chopping wood or camp work even though I am sure it would do both.

This Kuk has lotsa fullers a tapered tang and the clip is sharp.

this is a full house fighting blade forged of W2

11 inch blade light fast sharp

The plan is to darken the blade up and the handle is to be blackwood

Here are some pics of the blade in the early stages before it had the Cho cut in

Jason will I believe make a limited amount of these available and options like the fullers will be extra. The fullers on the blade are done by hand and Jason said it takes him alot more time to do something like this

This piece when finished will be on it's way to the Mighty P Long for some of his magic and then it will end up at the Gathering in Vegas along with STeven and I and one of my faithful Bagwell Bowie's

Here are the rough pics when Pappy gets done you guys can see the finished project

This thing is gonna be a flesh eater I could tell by Jason's voice and with a face like this what would you expect:D

HA! Awesome.. That not only looks fun to use but a real blast to dream up and make. Way to go guys! I'm sure the final product, with Paul's touch, will be somethin' special.

Oh great!!! Those kuks require a prosthetic sheath routine and now with a sharpened clip they will have to be stitched with bailing wire.

Way to go Jason......................................and Joey...........and probably STevie.

I was just thinking, we all know how much Mr. Long loves making Khukri sheaths :rolleyes:

Thanks everyone. Jason is one of my favorite twisted Makers and this thing is definately gonna be badass. Add Long leather and it should really be something.

Juan yes you probale could get some real good use out of this piece. :D


Wild Mike jason is going to be making more of these. Each will be different and there will not be 2 alike.


I requested all the fullers and Jason will as long as he sees a reason try to accomidate a request.


Anyone interested in getting on the Kuk list get a hold of Jason.


Just like Lorien's chopper these are going to be hot and go fast.
 
I'm jealous........that's going to be a world-class kukri.......congrats!!! :cool:
