Something Wicked Comes This Way Knight Combat Khukuri

Thanks everyone tonight I should be able to post the finished pics Jason is finishing it as I write this. Then Tomorrow it should be on it's way to Paul.

Redsnake believe me that is not the case. I just have to many friends that are talented makers and when ya get talking about something and the next thing you know they are building it I have a hard time saying no:D

Hello JParanee,

Howdie?

I believed this is a 18-incher? How heavy is it?

More important question, is it for sale?

Looking forward to your reviews.

Jay

That is FREAK'N SWEET!!!

Are you going to be able to take this out and beat on it like your HI Kuks? :p Looking forward to seeing the leather Paul puts together for this one (even if he isn't...)

Jay

This one is not for sale Jason will be making more contact him for details .

Redsnake this is a user. I won't beat it like a 100 dollar Kukri but I will use it

Thanks

I love it, Jason did a great job! Congrats Joe, that's a cool looking chopper.

Thank you all for looking. This Kukri is as real as it gets, 11inch blade 5.5 inch handle. I have cut with it. It is lite so it is not meant to cut logs and split firewood. This is the second Kukri I have made, there is nothing easy about making them with multiple fullers . There are two large fullers, one on each side and four small fullers two on each side. I do not care for the traditional shiva notch so I placed my own version in its place. There are things I dont like on a traditonal kukri and I dont have them on my knife.
I will offer some of these in damascus , contact me through the website.
Thank you all for your comments and the best sheathmaker on earth should not have any trouble with this. J

Very nice! Wasn't sure i was going to like it but when i seen the pics of it now it is one of the best looking kuks around. You're a lucky guy Joe:thumbup:

I hope whoever scores a damascus version will post some pics of it. That should be stunning.

Holy Kukuri ! Well done Jason, congrats Joey ! Actually Jason you look scarier than the Kuk itself :D Paul you better do a Kevlar sheath for this one !

If ya want to talk about service and a level of craftmanship that is beyond compare

Paul Long got the Knight Khukuri today and said that he thought it was a fine blade. That I am not suprised about Jason is one of the best. The Amazeing part is a few hours later I had pics of the finished sheath.

This one is black leather and black shark.

Plenty of attachment points and I am sure the best dam Kuk sheath ever.

Thanks Paul and Jason for a package that is sure to be a dream setup.

The best and the quickest. Paul has never been known to fiddle-fart around. His skills aren't only the best...so is his work ethic. Way to go Paul; great package there Joe!

The speed on this sheath might deserve a little explanation, considering I was moaning an groaning last week about the work load.

I finished up all my sheaths for delivery at San Antonio last night, and while I have accumulated orders in the mean time for a total of 20 more, they are represented by multiple sheaths per order. When this Kukuri came in today there existed a small window of opportunity because I didn't have enough time to do justice to one of the larger orders and I will be leaving early in the morning for San Antonio, there was just about the right amount of time to knock this one out for Joey so he can have it in plenty of time before his departure for Las Vegas for the Mall Ninja International Convention.

Any way there was enough time to do this one without shorting any one else in line......so I did. It's Always fun to do one for Joey. I suppose you all know by now I have his baby pictures in my wallet:D
