Song Sung BLUE: Blue-handled Traditional Knives

I don't own one blue knife. There's a few here I'd be real happy with though. Great thread!

I don't have any either. Wouldn't mind a few though.

EDIT: I stand corrected. I do own 1. A Case Slimline Trapper in Denim Blue. Looks more like purple though in this pic.

In 1997 Schatt and Morgan in their Annual Reproduction Keystone Series, made by Queen, put out 6 knives. One in pearl and 5 in a very dark blue. In fact I had a hard time getting any color to show up in the photos. I don't dislike blue scales on a knife but I bought this set because of the diversity of patterns it held.

There are some absolutely fantastic knives in this thread! One thing is certain, I don't own enough blue knives... In fact I currently own just one.

There are too many nice ones to lust them all...
Trand - that blue denim #73, blue acrylic CSC, and those #33's... Wow!
Ed - if you ever decide to part ways with that #72 you know where to find me. :D
Sarah - that Case Mini Trapper and Esynx'd peanut are great!

I agree with Erik! If I have a favorite color, it's some shade of blue, but I don't have a single blue knife. But before I commit myself to getting some blue goodness, will someone tell me if there are equally appealing knives in red, green, orange, yellow...?

Here, Erik's and my opinions diverge; I can definitely lust them all! :D Some of the acrylics posted here are especially stunning!

Wonderful collection pertinux!

I was thinking about getting a #22 Magnum in the white Buckthorn bone and dying it blue just the other day. Any experience dying white bone blue?

I have a few blues. The Buck 505 is for my daughter when she's old enough, made the year she was born.

I have had my eye on a Buck w/ Indigo Royalwood. It's good to see a couple.

Farmer, Cadet, & my Grandfather in law's knife that was handed down.

I've never been much for blue handles, but dadgum that blue 73 speaks to me! Wish they were still available.

I had two of those and let them both go and then got another one from Mike at CK and let that one go back to Mike. Well, I ran across a 4th one and picked it up. I think I'll hang onto the current one but then again you just never know.
