I haven't read this whole thread, but this sounds like the intro to Soul Calibur... Like pretty much word for word, for the majority

If you have any written material please post it. I would love to see the word for word comparison. Especially given the fact I just pulled that story out of my head. I am in my fifities, the last video game I played was Asteroids. And that was 35 years ago.

But my story certainly is based on the legend of Arthur and Excaliber. It being lodged in the tree is where I got the theme for it.

Qiute frankly, I am tired of defending myself here. I did nothing wrong. I also did not plagiarize anything from anyone, other then following up on the legend of the singing sword. So if you have anything to post, post it!

I am done posting in this thread, because it serves no greater purpose for Ontario Knives. I have been a member here for 5 years and truthfully have never seen anything like this before. It is about time for a moderator to step in and close it down.

And for the record I would not know Paul if I fell over him. I am #24 because I was on the forum when the numbers started. I have never been to an event, don't know Ethan, or anyone at KA-BAR or Ontario.

I am guilty of living in New York. It is a big state a lot of folks live here. I own Beckers. I own other knives as well.

Ok guys, I think it's best if we move along from this thread entirely. Jeepster, if nothing else, it's truly honoring that it means so much to you. For those that jumped in to defend us, thank you, but it's not needed. We still appreciate Jeepster and everyone else here or carrying an Ontario Knife. If I do my job well enough, maybe one day everyone will be so passionate about the Raider Bowie that they yell at me.

I wasn't trying to detract from your post, I didn't plan to enter this contest and don't care who wins. I didn't even read the whole thread, so I don't know what the issue is, I was just amazed that someone knew the monologue from soul calibur. I don't even know if it's as similar as it sounds to me, it was just easily recognizable for me. I have some fond memories of playing that game with my older brothers.

And you're definitely correct, the theme is similar to king Arthur and many folk tales.

I just saw your post in the "unread" section on tapatalk... Guess I joined the wrong thread.

Jeepster, we don't want to get you banned from survivalist boards. We've seen you post here about how much you love our knives. I'd be really bad at my job if I tried to put a stop to that. If you want, send a private message here if you can or on Facebook, I'm the admin for that page as well. I'm sorry you don't like how this played out and I'd like to make sure you feel better about it.
 
so there i was moving into my new home. while checking my mailbox my bowie slipped unnoticed out of my sheath.latter in the day when i missed my edc knife i looked every where but alass it was not to be found, it was hidden in the tall grass of my lawn. saturday came and as i was mowing the grass i heard a TWANNNNGGG and the bowie flew out and missed my postman by inches burying itself into the tree
