This is not a sculpture, sorry David.. but it was the maiden voyage of my Forum knife against Spam. Lower sodium, made with bacon... a sandwich, grilled Spam with American cheese, mayo, and guacamole. My wife even had me make her a half sandwich... mmmmm...tasty.

I was driving through Minnesota a few days ago, saw a billboard for the Spam museum. Asked my wife to stop, she asked why, I said so I can take a picture of my knife. I got the dreaded ‘wife stare’ so I kept on driving.

But I thought of you all!

I thought about driving down to the Spam museum just for the forum-knife-photo-op, but Google maps says it’s 1h56m away. Seems a bit excessive.

Ah, I see. Yeah, I wouldn't pay that much for Spam.

When I had six little ones, I had to buy store brand milk (a couple if gallons every three days or so), but now that most have moved out I'm drinking Borden's again.

Some wavy Spam as promised.
I got the crinkle cutter last week and broke out the Dremel to put a proper edge on it.
Unfortunately the pic I snapped of the beautiful caramelized crinkly goodness on these slabs in my cast iron pan seems to have been rejected by my phone.
But zooming in on the sammy will show a little bit of the browned stripey goodness.
I still have the "better" part of half the tin remaining so you all get to endure one more photo of my breakfast when I pair it with a few eggs...I'll get a proper picture in the pan then.
And no, there's no whisky in that mug...yet.
