Spartan Harsey Folder & ZT 0620 CF

Everything you keep saying sounds like the SHF is the way to go. I really do not think you will be disappointed. Considering it is a full ti knife and a Mid Tech the price on it is well worth it. Would love your feedback if you do get one.

I agree. Right now I'm all about getting a new Ti frame lock (non-flipper). And the SHF looks to be near the top of the heap. It'll be my first Spartan too. I'm always excited to try a new brand for the first time.

I think the only ZT's in production now that aren't flippers are the ones with the wave feature.

I've owned a 0620CF and while I love the general design, the CF on the 0620 was too slick for me. I didn't feel as confident with the grip as I do with my other knives. I also have a ZT 0452 in CF and the CF on the 0452 isn't as slick. It's unfortunate, because I really like the 0620CF other than that. But I did like the design enough to eventually get a G-10 0620 and am very happy with it. I don't know anything about the Harsey.

I agree on that. 0620CF has a handle material that provides less griping ability comparing to G10 on 0620. And I would say that 0620 has a steel as good as 0620CF. 0620 also has a DLC coating, which I consider an advantage for a tactical folder. At the meantime it is 40 dollars cheaper. So I also chose a 0620.

Interesting points. I've decided to not go for the Harsey. I'm giving myself a budget of $350. So now I'm all about the 0620 CF among other ZT's like the 0456. I usually stay away from flippers but I may try one again.

Then there's the Slysz Bowie. But it's rather small for my taste.

I really want the KW Spyderco Military S90V RIL and Nirvana.

It is no secret that Spartan blades are expensive. I know all too well. The knife looks great but I am not a fan of all metal/Ti handles. Stupidly as I write this I realize I just bought this:

Still though, the Harsey is not on my list.

Only I think that these grinds looks very cheap?

Relax, it's only piece of steel.

I am very relaxed. You are the guy who got upset enough at a piece of steel to make a comment that it is "ugly". Different strokes. Don't like it? Fine. Don't like it enough to make a single post in a long thread stating you think it is ugly? That is out of place. Like I said, I don't like the way a lot of knives look. If I posted in every thread dedicated to such knives only to add that I thought they were "ugly" I'd piss a lot of people off based on my own personal taste, adding nothing of value to any of said threads. To each their own! Continue on doing such things and see how that goes.

I'ts my critical point of view. I'm far away from being upset. And I don't mind if someone says something critical about my knives.

To OP of this thread - I think that ZT 0620 is better choice. Two toned blade finish like in real Emersons is very nice and looks much better than full stonewash in Spartan.

I found sometimes it is cheaper to get the knife you want first up mate!
For what it is worth the harsey looks awesome.

I am very enamoured with Fantoni. I bought a Hide new and
liked it so much I bought another LNIB for about half price. Then I bought th HB03 and liked it so much I bought the S125V version. They really do remind me of the old Lone Wolf knives.

Love the Harsey but too big for me so I am trying the Akribis from our own USAMADEBLADES. In the mail now.
