I don't know how I missed this thread, as my SHF larges are among my favorites. Thankfully abbazaba clued me in and I've caught up a little since this morning, though I still have a ways to go. I don't have a family photo of mine yet, but I'll fill in for now, a little pic-heavily, with some file photos of my three.

This was my first, bought brand new, somewhat surprisingly from a highly reputable eBay seller. S45VN, but with the old style pivot....






My second came off the Exchange at a good price, bought as user to be just that. It came with a very nicely re-sharpened edge, fully broken in and wicked smooth. This one's S35VN and is used mostly in working situations....





Finally, my newest, special ordered from Spartan by abbazaba to match his 3.25" with its brass/bronze anodized hardware, smooth buffed gray slabs, and SW S45VN blade. There's just something irresistible about this one's plain and fancy vibe. My first with the newer style combo lockside pivot screw/overtravel stop....

Here's # 2and#3 and #4 will be here next week. Bought a store demo off eBay for cheap.Like I said I'm all in.
The actions have really broken in. I am however getting some lock stick and some travel on the lock bar when using. Not to crazy about that.
I've sent my first one (plague doctor) off to BMG to get a hollow grind.
Not going to mess with the others in case I need to send them back for some reason. Really enjoy them. The only other complaint would be sharp edges around mostly the jimping . I think it could be tuned down a little. It looks

This has become a winning duo for me as of late. PJ SHF has kicked pretty much everything out of my pocket. Even when I buy something new, it seems like its just a matter of days and I have the SHF back riding along. The Ares is a new carry. At less than 6oz, I keep it IWB riding really deep on a bit of paracord right behind the belt sheath of my MT. I forget I have it on me.

The SHF, though, has been the best folder purchase I have made in a LONG time.

The second watch landed! After a takedown and cleaning, followed by grease with TW25 and a pivot tune, she is nearly as smooth as the first one. I'm gonna enjoy breaking this one in as it is destined for frequent carry! The first one I'm gonna leave NIB to drool over!

Geez, I was thinking about putting part of my tax return towards one of these bad boys and I think this thread pushed me over the edge.
