Your Ebony 56 is exquisite and I have to agree Spear seems to suit the frame best but the Pruner is 2nd!H Honest_Thomas I'd call it out as ultra koolCould be a Stabber Jack...scaled down somewhat .
Here's a variant, no Spear but to show the versatility of the 56 frame. It can house Clip and in reverse as a 57, Wharncliffe too. Spear does it very well I think

Very pleased with this new full sized spear, really shows off the blade style potential !
That is an extremely nice looking 56. You don’t see the hotdog shield on Northfield knives very often.
Very fine squadGrrhh you have almost as much taste as me
And much swifter at materializing it
But that new addition is a really good example of Spear at its better....
..almost..
The 2 Tidioute versions on this last 86 run seem to be the least popular?
But I tell you in all honesty that I’m glad I just missed the Barlow burlap , that gave me time to choose between the Barlow brown saw cut and this Tidioute.
In my personal opinion this spear is far more handsome than the SS Barlow’s version, and I’ll go even further and state I think the carbon Tidioutes are genuinely the pick of the bunch!!
If you get the chance to snag one, go carbon

Unique. Good combination of blade types.
Love the length/width ratio and the fact that it doesn't have the bulbous shape like the 85's. Plus, like..almost..

Charlie, sorry for the delayed response. That 36 was made in 2009. The jigging is different from other GEC knives. Maybe they bought the bone slabs pre-jigged.What year is that toenail, Travis??I like the bone jigging effect!!
