Are you serious? :jerkit:

If you want a serious Blade, for Military use there are many Makers/Companies that the Military in the know use ( STRIDER, Emerson, Busse........just to name a few..........Did I say STRIDER?

But I seriously doubt Darkops is among that list!

take another look at how sweet this knife is.

You should give serious thought to what the knife will be used for. Hand to hand combat? I doubt it. I REALLY doubt it. A fixed bladed knife will probably be used to dig, chop, cut, pry etc. Something on the order of a Ranger RD6 or RD7 or one of the Swamp Rat knives would be perfect. If you have a lot of $$$, a Busse would be good.

Every time I think of "fighting knives" I picture two knfes wearing boxing gloves dukeing it out. :)

Ah, come on, none of those are any good at controlling blood sprays during covert de-animation activities, and none of them are as impervious to Al-Quaeda bodily fluids as Dark Ops' knives are...:D

yeah don't go with darkops go with the original super duper awesome tactical knife extrema ratio, I think they only lag behind in covert deanimation, but in broad daily and overt deanimation they have a slight edge. Also, any knife that was desgined by, endorsed by, or looked at by a navy seal is also one of the top tactical knives carried into combat by ninja everywhere.

Who'd you have to bribe in the S-4 shop to get one of those?? Currently working the system to get some of the oakley boots to try out, heard they suck, but ahhh it's the govt's money anyways :D

Beef, your drunker than me! Good god man Hit the hey!!:)

I've handled one of the Dark Ops folders at a show and they seem very solid but with the high prices and (way) over the top advertising I would never even consider buying one. The knife and mall ninja text below is a prime example of why Dark Ops knives aren't taken seriously by most knowledgable knifenuts.

The back taper of the broadening penetrator tip Vindicator Covert Attack Knife is beveled as not to catch on bone or clothing when withdrawn from the wound.

Special forces have the special task to befriend with the locals. They also sometimes work in sterile clothing and try to blend in. By gaining their confidence and helping them it's easier to gain information and support.
So they normally use what the locals use. They try to blend in, wear local clothing, etc.

When they perform military tasks they use what is allowed and what they like.

They don't seem to like knives that draws attention to them.

yeah that darkops seems a little too flashy to be taken real seriously.
Dont know if the steel is any good but some try to hard to make their knives look tactical and you end up having knives made for sci-fi

Man! Those Dorkops knives are afflicted with really bad design(for actual use, for armchair ninjas they should be perfect):jerkit:
