spent the night in the ER

Thats always how it is. You learn from these things though. When carving a flat board you need a simple shooting board.

Its a board with a cleat on the bottom to sit against the front of your bench, and a cleat on the top away fromt he edge to put the work against. Then you always push away from you.

I know how those things happen though. I was on a first name basis with the staff at our local ER for years, then I moved and learned to stitch myself.;):D
 
I gave thought about stitching myself but my wife would have shot me dead..Her 1st statement upon seeing my hand was "that's it no more knives no more camping, no more hunting, This is crazy"...When I started laughing she must have realized how crazy she sounded, ans started to laugh to..and as for no more knives well I got a vic rucksack, a Breeden original, and a rat 7 on the way Soo....
 
If I cut myself bad one more time, my wife will limit me to rubber knives. Why do we do dumb things? Heal fast!!!
