Spirograph Damascus

Just an update on my TNK exclusive with Spirograph Damascus uneven sandblasting issues:

So I decided to go ahead and email CRK's customer service last Friday, 05/22/15, about the issues I had with my recent CRK purchases (KA exclusive Cf Insingo + TNK exclusive Spirograph Damascus). I was totally surprised to receive an early response from Angela considering how busy they are.

To make the long story short, she asked me to send the knives in and it will be covered by the warranty. Did I also mentioned she sent me a prepaid label for it? Just gotta love CRk's customer service.

They now have my knives and will be working on them. Will wait for their update and looking forward to receiving those knives back.

I would asume that "free shipping" is meant for the cheapest ground shipping. If you choose faster and trackable shipping service, charges apply. At least this is how I understand this. This is btw the common procedure at most of the well known shops. A year or so ago for instance KnifeArt shipped USPS priority mail for free, if purchase value is over 100 Dollars. Nowadays this is only valid for ground shipping and for USPS priority mail you pay extra. Same for Blade HQ and others.

This is correct. I was initially charged US$18.00. But I saw free shipping and called Neil to have the service switched since I was not in a hurry anyway. Saved me $18.00, took about a week to deliver... :D

You have to enter "FREESHIPPING" on the coupon field upon check out...
 
Attention please!

The large 21 flag/spirograph has just been added to the shop ...... and I got my order confirmed :-) So this means I will have a teamup of small and large 21 flag/spirograph :-)))))))
 
I've been curious if anyone has tried getting a replacement plain scale for the presentation side on one of these? There was some talk of it earlier in the thread.

I'm trying something a little bit different than that, but if I get the "okay", I will update you guys on the progress. Should be worth it...

Just an FYI for anyone that wanted the design without the Damascus, those are available now in both sizes. :cool:

Lol. We are allowed, but getting caught with one is a different story... there's a blade limit in CA and it's driving me nuts coz of different limit in each city...
